It appears that ICM pressed the issue to get a final vote at this meeting. I wonder if they have a plan to bring this back up again later?

I just think they finally realized that nobody was happy: There would be no way to force people off of the .coms, the XXX making a "donation" to an antiporn for kids thing was a crock, and the most conservative types felt that it would legitimize porn.
I just wonder what the five who voted for it were smoking. Best indication: Vint Cerf voted against. That is a real sign that it wasn't going to be. Alex |
