I watched a pretty exciting game last night between Edmonton & San Jose - SJ was up 3-1 - tied 3-3 going into the 3rd & the Oilers won 6-3.

I also played a little poker online & ended up wining a couple of bucks & pissing off one guy to the point that he was constantly swearing at me in the chat :D

Lots of rain again for Montreal today... but I got all my yard work done suring the week, so now I get to sit inside and look out the window at it haha.

Up way too early for the time I went to sleep but I have to drive over to my neighbor's place and let in some workers by 10:30.

Went out last night and bumped into someone that I haven't seen in years. They have a little dog that started shitting all over the place making a big mess and at that point I decided that it was time for me to go home. It wasn't that I was having a shitty time but there was just too much shitting going on.

Got my car fixed yesterday. Besides what I brought it in for it also needed a new battery and the battery holder was also broken. They were going to leave me with no car all weekend because they couldn't get a battery holder until Monday so I had them give me the car back without a battery holder and I just stuffed an old sneaker next to the battery to hold it until it is properly fixed next week.

Espresso is on :)

ugh- mother's day is a nightmare for me this year. She hates flowers and I live too far to personally deliver something. Any good ideas that can be shipped as easily & quickly as flowers?
Last year I gave her an audible.com subscription and she liked that.
What else is out there?

I am a bid nervous as I am serving as sergeant at arms for On The Board with MrMaryLou on the Greenguy and Jim radio network at 3PM EST. If any of you chil'uns can behave we would love to have you in the chat room.

Get Butch to run down to the bait shop and buy her a case of crickets, a case of beer, couple bags of ices, cheese and crackers. Then she can have a good mother's day by getting in that new boat and going to the middle of the lake away from everybody. The bream are bedding. If she does not fish then she could listen to the thousand crickets sing for a week or so.

Well, it really is just another weekend from where I sit (It's been a long time since there was much to celebrate, but my Mom still smiles on my from a picture next to my desk), and with the rain and all I can't even work outside or anything... so it is a bit of a "stay in and do porn weekend" as far as I can see.

I have something just on the edge of coming out, but the programmer type in me wanted to add a couple of extra features so it is off for maybe a day or two depending how fast I can whip up the modification I dreamed up (literally dreamed up, the idea came to me when I was half asleep).

I've been enjoying a nice quiet Saturday morning while getting ready for absolutely nothing today or tomorrow. Just a picture for me too, Alex. And since there's no mother, or other, right now, I don't have the last minute 'why didn't I think about this earlier, what am I going to do now' to worry about. Not that I don't wish I did, just that I don't.

Back to getting some work done on a new project now, before settling in with MML and whoever else joins the OTB crowd later today.

Well just hit 12 noon here so, good day. Wife and I are off to a wedding. Wired thing I realized last night. All my friends married all the girls we hung out with as kids. I'm the only one who married out of the circle. Man life is strange, I remember one of the girls telling us when we were like 15, that we have already met the person we are going to marry. She was about 99% right on, I'm the 1 % lol. Well bombed tonight on jack and coke, hung over tomorrow. So posting should be minimal.

I went to the gym and got very wet. Then I went into my backyard that now no longer has real shade trees, due to the wet windy hurricanes, in my black gym clothes and got even wetter picking up pieces of broken roof tiles and flower pots from what got spilled yesterday while moving big cement flower pots around. Now I'm laying under a ceiling fan in my 68F house trying to get dryer. I may go over to my neighbor's house late this afternoon and jump in his pool which will get me really wet. Seems like I spend my life just getting hot and wet and cool and dry…
