I'm told I have some offline stuff to do today & I have a feeling it'll involve leasing a new vehicle for my step-daughter's High School graduation present |thumb

Other than that, I'm just getting ready for tonight's big ER season finale :D

Got really drunk yesterday from drinking Duvel, probably one of the best Belgian beers ever made (chosen best beer of the world by some Britisch magazine). With it's 8.5% alcohol it sure did the job :)

Ah well, other than that I got nothing :)

I could hear Sandy squeeling downstairs last night, so I knew she was either getting stuffed by a handsomely engorged hog, or she was excited about the Amazing Race finale. Go hippie power!

Shamus should be coming home today. Can't wait to see the bill for this "simple overnight operation" which began Monday morning. It's a good thing the vet is hot. You know, not porn hot or walking through the mall in low-rider jeans with exposed thong hot, but doctorate hot. She has that sexy, slim, intelligent look that lets you know she'd have to be both intoxicated AND slumming to have sex with a guy like me. Oh well, I still have my hand and my fantasy to pull me through.

Big bright sunny day here this morning.

More of the usual for most of the day. Have to make time to go cruise the 3 local stores which might have a chair I'm looking for. Nothing in particular, just a comfortable recliner to replace one I got rid of last year (and wish I didn't). I don't want to have to go up to the mainland if I can help it. They have too many people up there. :D

The rain has stopped and we have blue skies and the sun is out.

Going to do some of the things that I was going to do yesterday today since all the things that I was going to do yesterday got changed, cancelled, or rescheduled and I did much of the things that I was going to do today yesterday but didn't do much of the things that I was going to do yesterday.

Guess all that means is I'm going to the gym and getting my car's battery tray installed today along with some other errands.

One of the things I did yesterday was get flood insurance on my house. The insurance broker that I use is where I adopted my black cat Katrina from. I brought Katrina with me so that all the girls in the office could see how she is doing. Katrina was only about five weeks old last time she was there last year but she seemed to recognize the office right away and went right to the room where she was kept and relaxed right away. Cats sure are kewl cute creatures. :)

Money may not grow on trees but trees sure do cost a lot to get trimmed. I wasn't going to do the last big tree that I had since it was street side and not close to my house but yesterday I had the tree trimmer trim it down to about half its size rather then risk having to remove huge broken limbs after the next storm so now I once again have a huge pile for Monday's bulk trash pickup.

Payroll day today! I always hate the paperwork part but i love the end results. :D

AC is going full blast as we expect 102 today on my side of the Vegas valley. |loony|
Otherwise not much.. have to go have a key made and maybe look at some landscape options for my poor burned yard.

We got a new dog last night, an old friend had him and couldn't keep him any longer. So we gladly took him, and he's a beauty!! Only thing is I can't remember his name at the moment, have to call hubby at work and ask him. |crazy| I swear my brain is half dead! I'll post a pic, after I get his name and find my camera |huh

good morning. 58 resumes, 3 decent candidates, phone interviewed 2 of them, got hold of the 3rd this morning.

On top of that, a company that has a security hole in their application is upset that I notified our clients running that software to ask for the upgrade after yet another machine was exploited. Thanks to the three unnamed souls on pinning that one down -- you know who you are. :)

And I just remembered that the electrician's cell phone from yesterday kept on calling me starting around 6:30 am. The phone sounded like it was at the bottom of his toolbox or something when it called me about five times or so within about twenty minutes.

I just installed a new free trade script for my site which is easy and smart... my little tgp is skimfree and I was told that it has a 800% prod. I am proud :D

Cool, the doctors said it would take a week to get over this lung infection thingy I had, and I'm already 99% better and it's only day 4!

But now I have to get caught up on all the work I missed the last couple of days, so I'm going to be a busy fuck for the next few days. |waves|

Moring all..just adding to this.. days has been nice so far, but I gotta research possible problems.. my left index finger has had pins and needles for about 2 days now.. I can think of hurting it or anything.. but its really annoying.. welp my quick blub of problems lol.. hope everyone else is doing better heh

Yeah I know, I wrote a paper on Zeno in college. Thankfully I have experience to know that I will get to be 100% better and don't have to rely soley on my reason, which is often flawed. ;)

Shamus Update (for those of you following the saga) - The pooch is home and his left ear looks pretty much like a cage fighter's burst cauliflower ear. I wouldn't suggest that anybody lick it for the next few days. They have the ear folded open taped in place. Three days and $468 later, the dog is one ugly fuck.
