A Question on Stats and Hosted Free Sites

Does anyone know if sponsors count in their stats clicks to a hosted free site? Or do they just count clicks if someone clicks on a banner link on a hosted free site to one of their pay sites? |huh

For Chop's Cash and I think most CCBbill sponsors, the count is for links going to the sponsor's tour pages.

I think that most will only count a hit in your stats when the surfer leaves the HFS & goes to their paysite tour.

But, the obvious exception are the programs using CCBill that have you put the long CCBill URL/code before the link to the free site - those are counted in CCBill's admin.

That makes sense, and what I figured, but wasn't sure. Thanks guys. :D
