well, I just spent the last 3 days getting a crash course in blogging thanks to this forum, Boogie's info & The Walrus' great tools - whew! :D

actually, all the wordpress stuff was easy, it was editing the templates - I now know more about css than I ever wanted to lol. But it's been an excellent learning experience so far!

I just wanted to get some feedback - got things (more or less) set up & a couple of posts on it...so any input on what I should add, delete, fix, whatever - I'd appreciate any comments.

So far I think it looks good, nice to see good amounts of text on a blog for a change. Maybe it's just me, but seem's like a little too many smiley's?

I want it to be more text based, I really don't want to do a 'selling porn' type blog, that's what my LL is for. I want to kind of add another dimension to my little network with a more personal side. Plus it's a great way to let out the 'frustrated writer' side of me :)

Seriously though it looks good. I like the addition of the my free porn links, I find my blog does well for pushing traffic to my LL, so hopefully that will work out for you too.

What I really want to know is, is that you in the custom header? :D

I had to fill up some space, so I put my links in there - that's what I'm kind of hoping will happen, I'd like the blog to eventually be a traffic source for the LL not the other way around. To be honest Preacher, I looked at your blog quite a bit to see how things get set up, it was a very big help |thumb I'm going to start sending a bit of traffic to it & whatnot so as soon as I feel that it's worth some trades I'll definitely let you know, thanks!

I'm shit at descriptions (unless it's my own site) so I copied your tag line. PM if you want something different. Also it looked like a toss up between babes and amateur so I picked amateur since that cat gets the most traffic but that could be changed too.

Thanks, the tag line is perfect. Most of the sites I promote are amateur, but many can also be babes, so amateur is just fine.

ronnie - I found it's harder than I thought just to actually sit down & write for it, but I've always written in some form so it really comes naturally. I agree with you about the text based blogs, tho - I think that the tgp-like blogs have a place but I wanted a more blog like blog lol

I peek in at Deleted Brain a lot Bunky - gives me a laugh :)

I do believe that blogs may be even more addictive for me than hubs hehe - I know there's a danger in 'overblogging' and not being able to keep up but it sure is a lot of fun. I'm going to do some mainstream ones next I think.

Sorry it took me a while to respond here ponygirl.

You're doing a great job and you're off to a great start. I skimmed a lot of it, read a bit, and that's how most surfers read a blog I think anyways ;)

you're writing well, spacing out thoughts into paragraphs and paragraphs kept short to keep todays readers in mind. very smart.

good layout, unique header always counts. I'm not a real big fan of white on black but i think its ok here. :)

When you're ready for more links and traffic let me know, I'll be glad to include it in a blog summary update and email me for a link exchange when you're ready for that too.

You might want to check to see if you placed your movie thumbs on your server since they show as broken for me :(

Post all the questions you like, I'll wait till Boogie answers and the say "Yep" :D

The more you post, the more natural it becomes and I'd bet within a week you'll have things popping in your head regularly and think I gotta blog this!

If your planning on posting movies on a regular basis, I would recommend the vPIP plugin. Stands for video playing in post. It's cool, I use it on the Blog Maniac exclusively.
