how many sponsors on a fs?

Quick question, how many sponsors do you promote on one free site? I dont mean links per page as in 3 per gallery but how many different sponsors per page? 1, 2 , or 3? Just wondering if I should concentrate on one sponsor or spread it out?

Thoughts?

I think it depends on the theme of the site, the category and presentation. Try it both ways and see what works best for you.

I've always just did one sponsor per site. It's never a good thing to offer someone too many options they usually elect to chose none for fear of making the wrong choice.

I agree. When I started I used up to three sponsors when I built freesites with own content. Soon I recognized that I didnīt make many sales at all. So I changed to one sponsor which works much better, at least for me.

Using sponsor content itīs usually not allowed to promote other sponsors. If you are building freesites with sponsor content you may promote other sponsors on the warning page and mainpage, but not on the galleries itself.

The same problem seems to be on my hub. Just too many choices there. When I fixed it, sales went up.

I think it could be a matter of what kind of sponsors as well. I work mostly with sponsor content, so can only offer one option there. When I do use purchased content, I do offer them two options - one would be a porn site and the other would be a complementary product like penis enlargement, sex toys etc. I haven't done this often enough though to comment on the results.

Same here.

You got to convince the surfer that the one site you're promoting is the best site out there. Greenie (FKA Greenguy) told me once that promoting several sites on a freesite is like promoting both Pepsi and Coca-Cola as the best coke in the same add. I believed him back then :)

always one sponsor/one free site here also.

I usually do 1 sponsor per site. That works well.

I've tried sites with 2 sponsors, and had mixed results. When I say 2 sponsors, I'm talking about 1 main porn site advertised throughout the entire FS. And then one ad (on 1 page) for a sponsor like penis pills or adult dating. I figured that if they're not going to click on the dozen ads for the main porn site, maybe they'll click on the 1 ad for something totally different. I didn't have any luck selling penis pills or extenders. I'm not sure if it was a problem with the product or my poor sales skills. But I did get a couple sales on adult dating.

you might want to try add one sponsor banner under enter link on the index page and talk the surfer into sale the rest pages of free site. i got sales on kwikmed pills this way, but it was loong ago.
