2 GreenGuy :Submitting problem

Sorry if this post duplicates another one, but I didn't found any similar entry

the problem is:
I can't submit anything to link-o-rama: when i fill submit form incompletely, CGI reacts, listing what I missed. But when the form is fully done, all required fields are filled and when I click "Submit" button, it just hangs on for three or five minutes and after all browser cancels the request. I always surfed through IE, but to solve this problem I've installed Opera and Moziila, but result was the same, just another browser logo was above.

I thought on my ISP and bought several Internet access cards of another ISPs but the result was same again. |angry|

Then i found a huge list of free proxies and tried to submit through them, but.. the result was same.

Green, help me, or I just |huh

It's a known problem where my server can't get to your server to verify the info you're submitting, but Richard has not been able to fix it :(

What have I to do then? Change hosting? If so, could you give me some directions?

Greenguy 2006-06-06 08:16 AM

It's most likely a router error. Changing hosting might help, but then again it might not & I wouldn't go thru all of that just to submit to me.

I have problems with that script on certain domains so I use others. Same hosting same routers just different domains.

ckeeper,

I have changed hosting and I can submit to link-o-rama and others to which I can't earlier.

Kaktus

kaktus, thanks. I think I'll do the same.. Which hosting do you use now?

Surfn, an interesting moment is that my first free site was hosted on the same hosting and on the same domain and passed through Green's "defences" ;) somehow and still brings clicks..

I'm really confused. |crazy|

Up until yesterday, I never had a problem before. Now I have this problem with several more sites.

So its a problem with my hosting?? |huh

I submitted to LOR for years with a particular domain then one day the script started hanging so I started using a different domain and that solved the problem.

From what I've read on this board and from my own experience, once the script starts doing that it doesn't go back to accepting the domain again.

Hmmm...this happened to me too. I was unable to access some sites awhile back - just "could not find server" page appeared. It was a blip in my dsl connection. Shit happens, then it stops.

ckeeper,

I'm using allmanaged.com now, earlier it was... also allmanaged.com but in virtual mode. At this time I have dedicated host cause I also post to TGP's.

Kaktus
