Probably because it violates all the rules on this page.

My site is no different then the 1000s that are listed on GG!
 

And I am not just a gallery site or link site, I have a place that surfers can come to see the women on the net. Yes it has just started but we will eventually have alot of woman on our site.

As for breaking those rules. . . I have not broke one of them! I do not have pictures on the site for one. They are thumbs to galleries! I do have a clear cut warning page with no blind links or tricks! I also think that the site does have personality! I have read all the rules on that page and my site meets every one of them. I have not broke one rule on that page. I think there needs to be a reconsideration of my site for linking. I have had sites on the GG's links before and I have followed the same guidelines as before.

I looked over surfin links and it has no clear cut entrance and it is not a proper warning page. Now if you want to talk rules.

First off I see alot of other sites with sexlist and other counters on their pages. So why let them do it and I get blocked for having them, even surfer links has sexlist and third party counters on it and I am sure he is linked with GG.

I also do not have blind links on that page. The surfer comes to the site and looks at the picture and clicks on it to get that gallery.

Most resolutions out there are at 1024X768. Why restrict your surfers to a small version of your site when they are set up to see it at what it was intended to show. 800X600 is almost obsolete.

What site stats are you talking about? I am not going to let anyone into my server control panel to see my stats for my site, that is just foolish!

It's not unusual to see some sites that don't fully comply with the rules on link sites. Those sites may be either sponsor hosted free sites, the owners own sites...or perhaps his friends sites who he allows a little extra latitude. Link sites belong to their owners and it's therefore up to his/her sole discretion as to what gets listed and what doesn't. Whatever the case may be, it doesn't matter...and debating the issue here certainly won't do you any good.

The bottom line is your site is outside compliance of the stated rules (which you were so adamant that it wasn't). You've been informed of the issues...challenging it is simply |banghead|

My site my rules. You started this thread asking why you were not listed at LOR not my site. The thing that pisses Greenguy off most, new windows, is on almost every stinking link you have!

If your submission had reached my eyes in my admin I would simply be amazed as fuck...my script doesn't like garbage either.

Alwaysboobs, MML reviews for LOR, so do what he tells you - comply with his rules - and you'll get listed. He's very generous when it comes to listing sites as long as you don't break any rules.

BTW, before you argue about new windows, counters, and page width, run a board search and you'll save us all alot of time.

Just list the things that I need to change and I will change them, I was a bit hot headed and I love the GG site so much that I just wanted to be part of it and did not have a clue that there were so many rules.

If someone could give me a list of what needs to be changed to get approved, I will get it done.

This is what I am going to change so far.

Size of page: 800 width
Get rid of the scrolling welcome in the bottom bar
Make my links go to the page and not a new window
Get rid of the 3rd party counters

Again, sorry for being a nag on this, but I am going to work with you to make my site good for GG. I was kind of hoping for a response from GG himself, but I guess he is busy.

It's not that I'm busy, but the other posts in here pretty much summed up my thinking :)

Even if you did change those thing around, I'd probably still not list the site because it looks like a hub that's full of sponsor links. For the most part, I'm only listing basic free sites these days.

Greenguy and great traffic and it is worth getting listed.

But why would you change your entire site just to get listed? You made the page wide and to open galleries links in new windows so why change it? That is crazy I think as you are trying to build a hub. Do what you think is best for your hub.

And like Greenguy said, he is mostly listing small free sites not hubs much.

I am a newbie, but let me attempt to answer this - not all of my sites were listed at GG, but several were accepted at other LL's -

Free site:
Index page (with recips ABOVE the enter link)
Main page (links to your gallery pages)
Gallery Pages

Each LL has a minimum number of pics required
All that I deal with ask that pics DO NOT open in new window.
Some like them UGLY, some like them PRETTY
No Banner farms

You cannot please all of the LL's all of the time, but you can try!
It is really about reading the rules. I tend to build and move on, rather than re-do each site if not accepted. Changing a site after submission, in my mind is a no-no.

I will do what I can to get my site listed at other places. I guess if I have a hub site, that is what it is and I will just move on.
