Did you guys see Bruice Springsteen's interview with Soledad O'Brien a few days ago? :) He has a lot of comments including when asked if musicians should speak out, "If you listen to the cable idots, present company included". :)

It's about 6 mins plus but well worth it and even a little music thrown in.

Speaking of Common Sense - a gentleman many years ago wrote a small pamphlet called that - his name was Thomas Paine and was writing it to generate support for a declaration of independence from England by the American colonies
A real relavant excerpt from it applies today just as it did back then:

"that in America THE LAW IS KING. For as in absolute governments the King is law, so in free countries the law ought to be King; and there ought to be no other. But lest any ill use should afterwards arise, let the crown at the conclusion of the ceremony be demolished, and scattered among the people whose right it is"

I think Bush and his "court" ought to read this occasionally
