Good Sunday Morning

Good Morning
Well, my wife is back home so no more dog babysitting :) Looks like it is going to be another crappy day so, no riding again today.

What a super hot day we has yesterday. I spent the entire day sitting in the backyard by pool and had a bunch of people over. Overall a great day.... looks like its gonna be another nice day weather wise today as well....woohoo!

Good Sunday My People |buddy|

The graduation was very nice yesterday & then we relaxed in the pool & played a little poker. Nice day.

Today I'll be practicing my horizontal TV watching skills |thumb

Morning! I'm up a lot earlier than I'd like to be, so might as well get some work done!

I'll work this morning but this afternoon I'll be in bed |bananna|

Have a nice Sunday all!

Cleo 2006-06-25 09:17 AM

It's that time of day again…
Almost awake and I can smell the espresso. :)

Was all wound up from work last night having a hard time falling asleep watching some really bad android moving on the SciFi channel. I finally get sleepy enough that I hit the remote and turn off the TV when I hear this horrible sound of an electric motor overloading and the crunching of gears coming from my garage. All my cats jump out of bed and go running and I'm terrified at this point not knowing what is happening. I go into the garage and see that the electric garage door opening is covered in migrating ants that have somehow shorted out the track sensor and tripped the motor on and the worm drive has now overshot the end of the track and is all jammed up into the door springs. I pulled the plug on the motor and spayed poison all over everything. Naturally after having the hell scared out of me it took another hour to fall asleep. Now my car is covered in dead ants and I'm going to have to unbolt the door from the track in order to open the door and get my car out of the way so that I can fix the track.

Other then fixing shit around my house I'm planning on just relaxing today.

Good Morning All :)

docholly 2006-06-25 09:44 AM

Morning.. have to go do my running this morning before it gets TOOO hot..then off to the swap to sell some bears and laugh at the silly outfits some of these peeps wear.

|waves| have a good one.

Simon 2006-06-25 09:45 AM

Good morning world |waves|

The rain finally moved across the mainland yesterday and is down here for sure today. Sort of strange because we're having sun showers. I walked outside thinking it was a bright, sunny day, which it was, but it was also raining pretty hard. No sun now. The thunder is here and the dark clouds are rolling in.

I think I have to slow down my speed reading this morning. I read that Cleo was terrified by a SciFi movie about electric android ants that have tracking sensors and spray poison all over worms.

I'm gonna go get more coffee. :)

bluemoney 2006-06-25 09:55 AM

Good morning all. Draging around looking for coffee.

Toby 2006-06-25 10:04 AM

Mornin' y'all,

Spent most of yesterday being a lazy lump, so I'd better get some work done today. Gotta sort through a bunch of boot photo sets and select 16 pics from each for galleries. Not my favorite part of the process. But those electric android ants aren't going to do it for me.

|coffee is on, help yourself...

Oh, and this afternoon is go fast turn left AND right.

GO BEAVS!

So you have been having my kind of dreams. :D

Garage door is fixed. Manicure is now totally fucked up.

Yeah it is pouring rain and while I was up on the ladder in my garage terrified that something bad was going to happen to me as I was playing garage door mechanic the sprinkler well pump came on, that is also in my garage, scaring me half to death and making me almost fall off the ladder. Always so nice to have the sprinklers come on in the pouring rain to water the lawn. Guess one day I should add a rain sensor to the sprinklers. One more thing for my very long home to do list.

Car is back in the garage with thousands of dead wet ants all over it. Guess the rest of them will wash off when I take the car for a drive today in the pouring rain.

Morning, I love dealing with ISP’s, I really love our current ISP when they work, but when there is an issue I friggin hate dealing with them.

Yesterday I had hardly any download speed, 247 kbps but the upload was still 8 + mbps, so I call my ISP and of course they blame my router which I then tell them in 7 or so years I’ve had broadband never once has it been my router and I refuse to unplug, plug into a different port and whatever BS “hoop jumping” they have in store for me so lets just cut to the chase and send a tech guy out to me so he can tell me its some hub a mile away.

So after a long discussion of him asking me to bypass my router and me refusing, he transfers me and I get to have the same conversation again and this guy got rather pissy with me and said “Look, if a tech guy comes out the first thing he will do is bypass your router” which made me laugh and I said that’s fine, he is paid to jump through hoops, but I know if he does do that he will be the first to tell me its not my router” which upset the other guy who said “FINE, he will be there Monday morning”

So this morning I wake up and notice I have a 1585 down and 852 up….

DAMN ROUTER!

Think I'll do the same...along with some 'other' horizontal fun :D

Have a great day everyone!

Chop Smith 2006-06-25 11:21 AM

Good morning. Think I will spray for ants and lube my worm.

virgohippy 2006-06-25 12:23 PM

Morning! And a good one too!

I got a hot date in about 10 minutes! :D She's into morning exercise too. |bananna|

Don't know when I'll be getting back. Sorry if I don't post a site tonight. |thumb

God feels like morning to me even tho is 315pm. Could not sleep last night. My new cam software is about 75% programmed and I got to thinking about my program for my site. Oh the nightmares of traffic and the $$$ it will cost to get. I hate nights like that, where there is nothing you can do until shit is running but still can't stop thinking about it.
Humid as hell here in the house. Tried to watch the show on sci-fi Cleo talked about. God 5 mins and I had it off. Nothing on TV last night so I just looked over my sites for about 30 mins. Then I felt like I had surfed the entire web and just staired at the walls.
Man Cleo you are one resourceful woman. I don't know any woman who would fix what you fixed. Most would run from the ants. Heck I don't even know any women who know how to open a ladder let alone stand on one to work. I'd hose those ants off ASAP, would suck driving down the road only to find a few million of them comming out of your vents.

Ivana Fukalot 2006-06-25 04:04 PM

ah, it was a perfect day. Im going to sleep. bye bye guys!!!

Good (at this point afternoon) to y'all.

Torn - it gets even more amusing when you use a Mac and try to discuss things with them...

And you go, Cleo. What a weekend you've had! I confess that a mass of insects like that would send me running the other way; but I had to repair my garage door opener when my dear nephew managed to break it last year. I was raised by a dad who had every tool known to man and I inherited a lot of them. As a single woman and homeowner, that comes into play a lot.

Most of my male friends are tech geeks who can kick my ass at some handheld Nintendo game, or extoll the intricate details of some new OS they installed on their nineteenth server, but can barely change a tire. They are baffled that I own a reciprocal saw and know how to use it. |huh

On the other hand, I still have a deathly fear of electrical work. |shocking|

Hot here today and aside from a little work on a mainstream site, I'm just gonna chill.

I've got a bunch of my dad's tools and know how to use most of them. It seems to frighten my male friends when I tell them that I need a 5/16 nut driver to open a panel or something like that. :D

I live in a three bedroom three bath house that is always needing something repaired.

Electricity doesn't scare me but huge garage door springs next to my head while I'm trying to unjam the garage door track does frighten me and wow do I hate bugs crawling on me.

Yeah I bet it is a lot of fun for MAC users dealing with the ISP's.

And a woman who knows how to use tools.... well....|love|

digifan 2006-06-25 07:19 PM

Ouch Cleo, that wasn't fun.. like the wasps here. And the heat making them agressive... it makes my throat swollen and have a hard time breathing, eating, even drinking and I am in pain.. eh.

lorsha 2006-06-25 09:36 PM

Ack! |shocking| I missed the good morning thread!

Have a great night everyone! |waves|

Cleo 2006-06-25 10:00 PM

Fuck shooting porn is boring.

After two days of shooting the same model you get to know where all their skin blemishes are and things get so boring that you just start fixating on their skin blemishes out of complete boredom and a pimple or scar is as good as it gets.
