Maybe I'm not in the right forum, but this is as good a place to start as any. Actually, better than most I've been to.

What are the rules and regulations one needs to know when getting into filming adult movies for DVD sales and web distribution?

What's the best technique for finding small investors for locations (homes) and actor salaries?

I'm operating (or about to) on a real shoestring here, and I certainly want to know the law before I start shooting.

Get model release forms signed. Get copies of real ID's. 2 ID's is better then 1. Make sure you know the law in NYC. Make sure you can shoot adult there. Becarfule they might be able to charge you with pimping, if you are paying two people to have sex on camera. As far as getting investors, I have no idea. I think it would be easier to shoot single models an sell the content. Shooting a video for mass distro is a whole other animal.
