Watch the skys! Huge Asteroid Flys Past Earth July 3

For those who like the night skies, here's something you might want to see if you can catch a glimpse of.

From the article linked below:

Quote:

An asteroid possibly as large as a half-mile or more in diameter is rapidly approaching the Earth. ...the space rock will make an exceptionally close approach to our planet early on Monday, July 3, passing just beyond the Moon’s average distance from Earth.

...skywatchers with good telescopes and some experience just might be able to get a glimpse of this cosmic rock as it streaks rapidly past our planet in the wee hours Monday. The closest approach occurs late Sunday for U.S. West Coast skywatchers.

When things get tough, I always say "what's the difference, nostrodomus says in 2012 the earth will be destroyed by a asteroid" Thats a big rock, comming very close to the earth and I'm sure some people are shitting their pants tonight lol.

Nostrodomus was just another foolish prophet and he has been wrong about lots of things including when the earth will end.

What the astronomers haven't mentioned, because they don't know about it yet, is a very dense dark object's gravitational field that has eluded detection will shift the path of this asteroid just enough to cause it to hit the earth causing all life on this little speck of matter to cease to exist.

I want to thank everyone for a real great adventure in this reality before we all die and hope to do it again with everyone in the next big adventure.|thumb

see, they got these guys from an oil derreck in the middle of the atlantic ocean, trained them quickly, and are rushed to launch the space shuttle to intercept this killer asteroid.....

:)

Lets hope the shuttle launches today, I still have too much to do for the earth to be destroyed tomorrow.

The latest calculations show that 2004 XP14 will pass closest to Earth at 04:25 UT on July 3 (12:25 a.m. EDT or 9:25 p.m. PDT on July 2). The asteroid’s distance from Earth at that moment will be 268,624 miles (432,308 km), or just 1.1 times the Moon’s average distance from Earth.
You know the funnything is how many of us will think about this durring our prospective timezones lol. I know I will be either looking at the sky @12:25 am or thinking "I think I was supposed to do something right about now"

I know but I'm a firm believer in the bible code, nostro, sandman, Easter bunny, tooth fairy (the sexiest and best, as she’s like a hoe. She gives you money late night), Santa and a close 2nd Tom Hank’s character in the DVcode.

I'll probably be at Voodoo Lounge since Sunday night there is "Life is a Drag" night which is usually a lot of fun and rather twisted. I figure if I'm going to die I might as well be partying in the wilder side of things and I was going there anyway.|thumb

I'll bet you $100,000,000 that you're wrong. Of course if you're right you're going to have a hard time collecting from me :)

I did a bunch of Jagermeister Blasters. I'm really not all that sure I even know right now if the world has ended.

I think I'm going to go puke now…
