Looking for a mentor!
 

Hi guys,

I'm new to this business and it seems like there's just a ton of stuff out there, lots of different ways to make money and lots of different things to do. I could flood the newb forums with questions, but that would be lame and I still might be confused.

I'm very patient and willing to do what it takes to succeed in this business- I know it's a lot of work and not some kind of "get rich quick" thing. I'm in business for myself and relatively well-capitalized- I see this as a great way to get another revenue stream coming in.

In exchange for your help I'm willing to either pay cash or signup as a referral under your affiliate accounts so you get a cut of my signups. All I ask is that you've been in the business awhile and been successful and that you are willing to chat on AIM/ICQ/MSN and help me out. PM me or just respond on here if you're interested.

This board's a great place to learn the freesite and linklist game. There's not much money for a newbie, but it's very possible to make a profit in a relatively short period of time. (months, not years)

If you do go that route, step 1 is to build a freesite. Step 2 is to post a thread asking for a review of that freesite. :D

By doing so you'll pick up skills which'll come in handy later.

Step 3, and probably the hardest step of all: ignore your stats and keep building! :D

There will be plenty of time to check your stats after you have built up decent traffic. Not every free-site will sell! Just keep trying.

Before you waste someone's time by selecting them as a mentor, you first need to decide if you are right for this business.

Do you have any social phobias or anxieties?
Can you finish a pot of coffee after your spouse leaves for the day?
Do you consider bathing a daily ritual or something you do after you start feeling sticky?
Do you have a comfortable couch to nap on during the day?
Do you prefer to work in the dark?
Do you go to bed with your spouse at night, have sex, then get back up and go to your computer because you have an idea you need to start working right at that moment or you won't be able to sleep?
