photoshop batch compressions

Hello, I was wondering if anyone could point me to a tutorial that will show me how to optimize or compress all the images in a folder. Thanks

Both Photoshop and Imageready (comes with Photoshop) do batches and can create Droplets that you can then drop images on to do batches.

I personally find ImageReady easier to create Droplets in.

I posted a few of my Droplets in this thread. It's a Mac thread but the Droplets also work on a PC.

You can edit some of the settings them by opening the Droplets in ImageReady.

To make your own Droplets open the Action Palette and record what you want to do. You can then save the Action as a Droplet.

Thanks Cleo, I'll start playing with it.
