Another Strip Club lawsuit - Michigan
 

Well another strip club is being sued in Michigan, a multi million upscale club is being sued by the faimly of a guy that lost his life from a drunk driver. The driver was served over 21 shots and multiple bottles of beer while in the club and caused a 15 car pile up crash in detroit and killed one old man that was in that crash. The victim's faimly is now sueing the club for 10 million dollars for over serving the drunk driver/patron.

Let this be a lesson lets not drink and drive.

Really not a strip club issue but a bar issue.

Not sure about other states but here the bar can be held liable if they serve a drunk customer or let someone drive that leaves the bar and tries to drive.

I think that's most states but doesnt seem to matter much. I've seen people that can't keep their head off the bar get more shots.

Isn't a strip club and a bar the same thing unless it's like DaJaVu where they don't serve alcohol? In MI the club owner can be held liable for overserving if the lawyers and the prosecutor deem that the club is liable.

I actually tripped and fell in there one time and they didn't do anything about it, I had 1 beer in me also, they didn't wanna fill out a report, bad lighting on their steps inside, so I thought about calling a lawyer but then changed my mind. I just love Karma... lol

A bar doesn't have to be a strip club, but a bar can be a strip club.

There are non alcohol strip clubs here. They don't do real well but some cities here ban alcohol and full nudity here.

We used to have an all nude strip club here that was bring your own. That place rocked. It was funny tho, you would see groups of guys carrying in kegs. No nude strip clubs in NJ that serve alcohol. Not that it matters as most of the stripers wear next to nothing anyway. If it's a really large club I hate to see things like this happen, it's hard for a bartender to tell how many they have served to whome. I think the bouncers should not only look out for trouble makers but also drunks. But I have to say in their defense, there has been plently of times I drank myself stupid. Not even remembering the drive home. But I know when I left they would never be able to tell I was that wasted. I was able to walk and talk like a semi-sober person. It's when the air hits you that all hell breaks loose. But that's why bars get insurance.

I find it so funny the clubs where the girls wear latex over their nipples. At least it keeps them from trying to shove their nipples in everyone's mouth.

The whole nudity versus alcohol is crazy. I live in Fort Lauderdale where nudity and alcohol is banned so the girls have latex over their nipples and a G-string over their twat but you go half a mile up the road to Oakland park and it's full nudity with booze.

We have a local strip club that doesn't serve alcohol. Around here and I think statewide (except NYC), if the club is full nude, no alcohol. But, like our Indian casino, they turn the other way when you bring your own.

Really? When did that happen? I was stomping around boca in the late 80's and still have my Doll House golf towel I won for $100 lol. If memory serves me those hotties were all natural. Heck I almost fell off my chair when they had Play Boy playmates come out on stage. At that time it was rare to see a playmate dancing in a strip club.

It happened some years ago when then Vice Mayor Doug Danziger went on a mission to rid Fort Lauderdale of sins and make it a family friendly town. Later it became know that he was one of Kathy Willets clients and left office in disgrace.

Before this we also had topless donut shops, nude car washes, and Go Go dances and the laundromat.

And lets not forget, two hot girls in thongs selling weenies lol.

I just want to know why the fuck I have to drive all the way to North Miami to go nude at the beach or even topless.

Here in Michigan the strip clubs are all pretty much close together, unless your talking about DeJaVu, (which sucks) we have the same laws no alcohol where there is full nudity as well. One of the clubs a couple years ago had a guy die in the lap dance room and when it happend the club closed it's doors, hid their drugs and locked up their money, then about 1 hour later they called the police. Needless to say they were brought up on man slaughter charges for not calling EMS when the guy was having his heart attack but because the owner contributes so much money to charities and to the city for various things he was let off. Then the girl that gave the guy the heart attack blackmailed the club owner. She now canot be found. But this club now has to wear pasties, that was their punishment. -the guy died for a pastie law. lol

I think the state no mater where it is should not restrict these clubs, If people want to make the choice to go they should be able too. Hell I think prostitution should be legal as well, they do it anyway so make it legal and tax it so I don't have to pay for people on state assistance and young teens having kids they can't afford.

All of my girlfriends are stippers, meaning I actually hang out with them outside the clubs, I've developed a good rapore over the years with them mainly I think because I am a photogrpaher and adult video producer. I had a girl last night tell me she wanted to do her own hardcore dvd. And she looks alot hotter then some of these |spam|do. Strip club industry last year brought in over 19 billion dollars. If the states and government want to wine about it, fucking tax it and let it happen. lol
