Looks like a little welcome rain is on it's way. Maybe a day or two of this oppressive heat going away.

Anyway, this week is going to be busy. My Daughter is getting married in our house next Saturday. So, we have a lot of crap to do.

My morning is already shot to hell. I went downstairs to make a pot of coffee and discovered that I had only 3 scoops of my normal dark roast left, so I had to add a big scoop of Folgers Chocolate Silk. Chocolate Silk sounds yummy, don't it? But guess what - it tastes like deet. If that one scoop spoils my entire pot - I'm going to be a very angry boy.

Bad news on the coffee, UW. Good luck on the Chocolate Silk. I had to mix some Newman's Morning Blend with my usual Hawaiian stuff last week. Wasn't too bad. But that Silk thing sounds...well, not for the morning, and we'll just leave it at that. :)

We got the storm that is heading Jim's way a couple hours ago - |buddy| was bowling & it woke me up :(

I'm hoping that it stops raining sometime today so that I can enjoy the pool a bit before playing cards tonight |thumb

Wow the fucking bright sun is out and almost no clouds in the sky.

Did next to nothing yesterday since it was a stormy nasty day out. Was going to hit the malls on the west side of town but then a big truck jackknifed on one of the major highway ramps that connects the east side with the west side of town closing it for most of the day. Since it took out the guardrail on both sides of the ramp and the ramp is way up in the air not sure if traffic is flowing on it yet.

May hit the beach today if the weather stays nice. Temps are only in the seventies with expected highs in the eighties. It really is looking to be a beautiful day but it may rain this afternoon since it usually does this time of year.

good morning... my son jumped in bed with me at 6:45 but instead of falling back asleep he kept saying 'toast, daddy, toast'...

I'm up... I'm up. :)

Update - my coffee isn't completely destroyed. There is only a hint of pesticide flavor. Reminds me of the shit I had to drink back in the Nam. I love the smell of Folgers Chocolate Silk in the morning.

Another day at the swap today.. and we have to start packing up the booth for a show next weekend when the BBWs invade vegas.

weather took a turn today, it's cool & overcast and will probably rain. I'm going out anyway, if we all stay in the house today I'm sure someone will get disfigured :)
