OK, so I'm getting back in the site submitting game...
 

It's been a while since I've submitted any sites, but I've got 100+ domains with PR (many listed in DMOZ) that I plan on making into freesite hubs.

I've been out of this for a while, so please bear with me:

1. What are the "in" linklists these days (that do reviews reglarly and have traffic)?

2. I know that there is a glut of sponsor content out there, but using it increases the likelyhood of a sale. So what is the consensus on sponsor content? Just in case, I've bought some cheap non-sponsor content.

3. Is one link back to your HUB site on the menu page acceptable?

4. Who is interested in working with me taking these submissions. As I stated: they will be from an established network, hubbed correctly, hand-submitted, and no bullshit all around.

1. I guess it are still the same ones you submitted to "back in the days". There are some newer ones that are certainly worth submitting to.

2. Sponsor content gets accepted by most LL's as you probably know and converts better indeed. But some of the content out there is already way overused so that's always something to look out for.

3. One link back is acceptable but counts as 1 of the 3 outbound links allowed.

5. Why are you asking all these questions? You run on eof the biggest LL's out there :)

Thanks dood. I kind of let Dare do his thing (along with some of my input) -- I haven't been on the submitters perspective in 2.5 or 3 years. I was trying to see if the game has changed any. :)

I just got an application from someone saying that he was submitting for you. Is this correct?

Me too. The site was accepted though as the submitter was already known to me and jays sponsor code was in the links :D

Jay you can send them to my LL! I have in my rules no sponsor content but alway make special allowances for people from this board, as I know I can trust them. If your looking for a big traffic LL mine would not qualify, but could someday:D

I would like a list of the big ll's too. I still think smaller ll's are worth submitting to (any surfers are more than welcome ;)), but I hate to miss submitting to any of the big ones just because I dont know who they are. And no, I dont submit to j's. The minimum content amount and the whole sponsor content thing is a bit too much for me.

It would be nice to have an idea of where all the big lists are though, for those of us who havent been in the link list game for very long.

there are a lot of us 'little' LLs that I notice have been around for a while now (2 yrs or more) that are starting to get good PR and traffic.
If you look around the board you'll see there's a few of us that have shown some staying power & I'd start with those (plus the obvious ones, of course :))

Good submitters are hard to come by, another one would be most welcomed, sponsor content or not :)

Decided to get back in the game hey |thumb I often wondered if you submitted sites in the past.

I'd say drop your sites with us but right now I've been crazy nuts busy redeveloping our directory from the ground up. Taking a bit long so I might end up working into the late night to get the thing going again.

Anyways...you can always check us out in a week...should have things back on.
