Sub-directories?

I haven't seen it in many rules but I was wondering how many link lists do NOT allow sites to be in sub-directories/folders under the root domain? A list here would help.

Thanks

That would be a very short list. If sub-directories weren't allowed you would need a new domain for each freesite. Stay away from sub-domains though.

Yea, I'm not aware of any link sites that don't allow sub-directories...that would be downright silly |crazy|

The other side of the coin is I'm also not aware of any link sites that do allow sub-domains.

$10 a year isn't a high price to pay to get a dot com that suits your niche. A single sale from a smidgen of SE traffic can cover that.

Using subdomains makes it really easy for a whole shit load of freesites to dissappear all at once... or worse...

Probably similar reason why a lot of LL's like to see a mixup between domains being used. :D
