2006/7 SuperBowl Party Contest! |thumb
Once again, we will fly the winner into Buffalo, NY for a private Super Bowl party at Greenguy's Pool House on February 4th 2007!
Jim might be there (he has dogs) as well as MrMaryLou & probably a few others.
The winner will receive $500 for travel expenses, a ride to & from the airport (if necessary), a bed in our spare room and we'll of course be partying all weekend :)
In order to determine the winner, we've decided to start a "Win & You Go On" Pool - here's how it works:

1 - Send all picks to us via the board's
Private Message system.
2 - Each week, you must pick one team to win their game (no spread)
3 - Once you pick a team, you can not pick them again for the rest of the season (meaning that if you pick Miami to beat Pittsburgh in week 1, you can never pick Miami again)
4 - If your team wins, you go onto the next week. If your team looses, you are out of the contest. Ties count as a win.
5 - You must
Private Message us your pick before Noon EST on the Saturday before the games. If we do not have your pick by Noon, you are out of the contest. If there is a Thursday or Saturday game, your pick must be in before Noon the day before the game & only if you plan on picking from those games. (Meaning that if you plan on picking the Miami/Pittsburgh game for Week 1, you must have your pick in by Noon Sept 6th. If you are not picking that game, your pick for Week 1 is due by Noon Sept 9)
6 - Last contestant remaining will win the contest.
7 - In the event there is a tie at the end of the contest (after Week 17), we will randomly draw a winner from those that are in the tie. If there is a tie before Week 17, we will extend the contest until we have one winner or until the end of the season. (meaning if in Week 15 there are 4 people left & all 4 loose, they will go again in Week 16)
8 - Only one entry per registered board member (only Jim, Greenguy & MrMaryLou are officially excluded) & you must have
700 posts before August 14th as well as 20 posts in the last month in order to enter the contest (previous winners are automatically entered) Registration ended at Noon EDT on Sept 6 2006.
Upset that you don't have 700 posts with 20 in the last month? Can't make it to my house even if you did win?
