Good Radio Show Tuesday

A fine morning to all...
Just about 24 and 1/2 hours until our 10th Random Logged In Member Contest. Make sure you are here and logged in at 9:00 EDT.

Since I usually have my busiest day of the month on tomorrow's date, I will be doing it today. I have hopes of getting things done so tomorrow will be free.

Have a good day

Morning |waves|

The Bitch's laptop doesn't want to boot for some reason (she swears she didn't do anything to it - lol) So after I do my normal morning crap, I assume I'll be on the phone with a guy named Bill that speaks with a very heavy Indian accent.

Wow time to do it all over again already. Still waking up way too early at sunrise. It wouldn't be so bad but I didn't go to sleep until around 2 am. I've been doing this all week but oddly I don't feel tired at all.

Sun is out and it would be a wonderful beach day. Unfortunately I need to stay home and work since yesterday I got zero work done due to a friend asking me to have lunch with her and it turned into an all day into the night outing.

Ordered some books from Amazon late last night.

Other then working today not much else planned. Going to try to finish up work early enough to get a little beach time in but I don't hold out much hope for this.

Guess I should make this morning liquid crack also known as espresso.

I didn't say I wanted winter today... :)
Though I'm thinking of heading out to the cabin next weekend to fire up the snowmobiles and figure out what part(s) we'll need for the winter.

Good morning |waves|

I am struggling here with a piece of code to get submissions for a site and have no idea what went wrong, maybe the code is too old school? Hm.

Have a great day!

Morning all,

Cleo, feeling old?

The day started out with lots of rain but it seems the sun has driven the clouds away here.
Got some blog filling to do and after that it's working on another new project.

Have a nice day all :)

Mornin' y'all,

Everything else got set aside yesterday to take care of a couple of 'puter emergencies. We take care of the basic IT at the dental office of our friendly neighborhood dentist that lives across the street.

The file server we built for him lost a power supply, easy fix, but we also discovered that the hard drives were 80% full. So a new power supply and a pair of new 750 Gig hard drives (Raid 1) for that box.

While we were at it we also upgraded the primary drive in his bookkeeper's work station, which was so full that the machine would barely boot up.

They're all happy and back in business, but I didn't get any of my own work done. I can't complain though, I do get free dental care out of the deal.

|coffee is on, help yourself

One wouldn't think a dentist would need that much hard drive space. Did he ditch his x-ray machine and go for one of those new computer imaging, umm, thingies (yeah I had to bust out the technical term, "thingie" in this description).

Have a great day everyone! |bananna|

There are three dentists in the practice. They take photos with a digital camera that are then uploaded and linked to the patients chart. It's far easier to put up a full screen digital photo to show the patient rather than using mirrors and trying to talk to the patient about treatment with their head back and mouth wide open.

They're still using old-fashioned film x-rays, at least for now. Plans are in the works for converting to digital x-rays, but that system will have it's own storage solution.

Good morning world |waves|

Woke up early and got right to work. Nice productive morning so far, on a lovely, clear 86° day with 93° expected later. I'll probably be done with what I'm working on just in time for the afternoon rainstorm, which will inspire me either to work on something else or take a nap.

A good Tuesday to all ... and I'll see some of you at the radio show chat tonight.

:)

Actually with my birthday coming up next month yes. That and I don't like the changes that I'm seeing to my skin texture at all. My neighbor who is pushing 70 has been on 1.2 IUs of daily HGH for about three years now and despite his horrendous lifestyle he looks like he is getting younger each year.

Good morning folks. I'm home again albeit briefly, and time to get back to work.

How do you guys get the "°" symbol? Is it only one of those mac cultmember things or is it available to the rest of us too?

Greenguy 2006-09-19 12:26 PM
