Webcam free sites
 

When making a free site for webcams, I am assuming that it is ok to use video stills, but the stills aren't big enough to fullfill the 600px rule or even the 500px rule, what do You do to get around that?

If you dont use video stills what do you use?

You use movies from the show or you ask the girl to have someone take pics of her with a real camera while she's doing a show.

And the sponsor I want to promote has none of that stuff :(

Contact the sponsor directly and ask if they have, or can get the type of pics you want, or try contacting some chat hosts and ask them, as GreenGuy mentioned.
Point them in the direction of some of your sites, and convince them you'll be able to send them some horny customers.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with helping Xallow finding webcam video captures for use on free-sites. Free-sites as in 2 linked galleries to be submitted to linklists. |hammer

Some linklists will take screencaps, you could probably ask juggernaut which ones will and which ones won't as he used to submit those. IMO, if I could pull all the trades off my webcams page I'd just wrap that page up and toss it away.

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that. I have no idea how webcam free-sites sell.

What I meant was I only have 26 sites in my category and the last submit was in May.

I've been digging around for cam sponsors who offer good enough quality pics or clips for current freesite standards with zero success.
Next step is to contact individual chathosts, I guess using chathost forums.
If I could get good enough pics or videos I'd be a regular cam-freesite submitter in an instant.
Any sponsors out there with pics or videos usable by today's freesite standards?

And by screencaps I'm talking small actual camgirl screencaps.

Sure you may not get listed at some sites, but you'll get prime listings at others. Whether it's worth your time or not, I have no idea. |huh

webcams.com has plenty of videos for you to use that would be accepted... you can actually crop the videos however you like and save them in either mpg or mp4 (ipod) format

I was at webcams.com a few hours ago looking at those. Looks like I'll be using them as soon as possible. Hope I can send some sales your way - I've struggled so far, but if those videos are from active hosts then it should help a lot.

Oh, well I guess I should have mentioned that I don't think this will be stated in the rules. I know when Jug asked about it, both Cleo & I said that we would accept the caps at the time. I still will as it gives a brief glance at what is behind the curtain and I'd rather have surfers seeing that, then a totally unrelated picture gallery taken in a studio.

What you could do is browse a few webcam sites in both Cleo and my directories and you can tell from the recips where Jug or other's who submitted caps got listed. |huh

I have no problems getting High definition pictures from iFriends. I even get them to serve the HDTV shows for FREE. I have access to tons of HD screen caps to use. I must admit, I never built a free site but I'm sure the HD quality would fit the bill.

If you want to go that route let me know.

The problem with the vids is that when they are recorded they are not going to be of good quality (1 or 2 second frame rates). Anything with a good stream IE MS media can't be recorded very easy but would provide a really good video. But not many sites are using MS for their streams and archiving that vid is not hard but eats up harddrive space and requires the vid to be stopped in order to retreave the file. I can and prob will get my wife to make some videos but I'm becomming a lazy fucker. Mean while I know if I promote only my wife I would have a pretty decent cash flow. The other problem that comes with this is just like preacher said, he does not have much in the lines of sites to list on his site. Now I can sit her and build a bunch of sites but what good does that do? It makes his site look like it's only promoing one site. I can only get so creative, so I think it's better to take a small break in submitting my sites to the LL that have taken them for that reason. I don't want every link on their webcam list to be mine. Sure sounds great but we all know that can't be a good thing for either of us. I have thought about doing some things to be able to make more FS with cams. But I need to get together a better plan or should I say get off my ass. KC be carful with asking the models. 1) the website might not like it so ask them first before you jump into the chats and start asking. It could get you banned. Make sure you give them a nickname you will us in the chat and make it very clear you are going to only promo that site. 2) it's a roughly road man, these girls hear it all day. My wife gets offers for modeling contracts, website design and just about everything under the sun durring her chats and the people are instantly ignored or banned. Most sites will have a group area for the models to chat but you will have to deal with the one girl who will start freaking out an reporting you as a spammer meanwhile she has no idea what the hell you are doing. It's just a tough road man. Biggest money maker but toughest road.

I set up a female friend as a chathost at CamContacts last March and she performed from my place for about six months. She made lots of money actually but quit to have a baby. Great girl, and very popular too as a real British amateur with great English/chat skills among loads of non-English hosts.
She also got some really weird offers. Some guys are crazy! lol

Anyway, on the CamContacts chathost forum there was always a guy called "RedBaron" who'd help the girls to market themselves. I was led to believe he was very good at promoting camgirls but often the hosts were worried as his requests for content etc from them were very specific. I was never sure if he was genuine or not, but I'm pretty sure if, like you said, I ask the website owners for permission before approaching any hosts for content, I should be okay.

As far as actually getting any content from them.....who knows, but I'm pretty certain that to be successsful with webcam freesites you need that content to be able to promote a specific host.

I'm Live is currently converting for me at around 1:1500 or so from just text links and banners on my freesites, which is very nice, but I long to be able to find a good set of photos or videos and link to that specific online host just to see what the difference is in conversions.

I'll get round to digging deeper into webcam freesites soon and see what happens. The trouble is - I'm discovering that the more pies you have your fingers in the less you can wiggle them freely. Daily freesites, a hub or two, a few webcam sites and the time soon ticks away!

My wife is currently working with IMLIVE and trying to get her issue resolved in the past. They have allowed her to sign back up but there is a password issue that she can't get fixed. Once that is completed, if you want I can point you to her and she will work with you in getting you some quality images and maybe some videos. I know she is a little hesitant on the vids. One day she is cool with it the next day she is not so the vids might have to take a backseat. In fact I just spoke with her and she said she will do the photos for you when the issue is resolved. But she wants the traffic to go to her profile. Which I know will be the case but she insisted I say that. Anyway I'll keep you up to date when the IMLIVE thing is fixed. I need to push her to make the time to work the issue with them. If Adam could help out that would be cool. I'm not 100% sure what the issue is as after 20 minutes of hearing it and reading the emails my mind drifts to man things lol.

Does that mean we can finally put Pussy Cash back in the newsletter without fear of you sending spam complaints?

GG I had one fall out with them that is over and was over 1 year ago. Come on now, I would not call anything in the newsletter spam. I know better then that.
