Hi Board,

well today i got that first long awaited sale|bananna| . And then i got a second about an hour later!!

So the day started good. When i got home from work i thought i ought to check my PR as i hadn't checked that in a while ~ it came up as PR2 so more good news, but not believing i entered the right site i entered a few more times but got different results twice PR2 and twice PR0 so now not really sure which it is. If anyone can confirm that would be great. site is http://www.sexyethnic.com

For all those newbies, let me tell you it feels great to get that first sale. Although i got a depressed for a minute when i worked out the pay/approximate hours. At less than 5c and hour it has to be below minimum wage anywhere in the world in 1906! However i will keep working hard cos now i'm hungry for more!

To those that have helped by giving advise it couldn't have been done without you. This board is very helpful. So thanks!!

For those that hadn't seen a post from me for a while and figured i had fallen off the road, i have been checking in on the board but been busy working on the various aspects of the site.

Once again to any newbies it is a lot of work and you have to be dedicated to get any results.

Time for a beer or did i mean a 6-pack? While i am working of course!

That first sale is quite a spirit booster... even though the pay/hour sucks in the biggining it will get better but it will take time... but You already know that.

About the PR Gooogle seems to be doing an update right now, have been for a couple of days but if it says PR2 pnce in a while and it used to be PR0... that is probably good news.

Good for you to keep at it. Know that you are not alone in your efforts. It's my experience that people bragging about how much money they made in their first month of free-sites disappear quickly soon after. If it was so lucrative, why did they never submit again?

I have some advice......don't get too addicted to watching those sales stats, it can drive you INSANE when the sales seem to dry up for a few days or even weeks.
Also, don't let a dry sales patch sometime down the line put you off. Sometimes it's very hard to stay motivated when things look bad, but as has been said so many times on GG&J - build through the bad times!
