A fourth girl has died in the hospital from injuries received when a gunman stormed an Amish school, CNN has confirmed.

There have been way to may school shootings in the news these days. My son will be starting school next year and it's scary to think that school is no longer a safe place to be.

I remember seeing guns regularly at my high-school. It was common knowledge that some kids carried 'em. |sad|

You always think living in a small town, it can never happen. But, it doesn't get much smaller than a one room school house.

To tell you the truth, our local school is so screwed up, it wouldn't surprise me to have it happen here. Our wonderful High School is almost last in the state for percentage of graduating seniors.

Has anyone heard what set him off? There was a mention of something that happened to him 20 years ago in one of his letters.

Seems he had molested some children years ago and was troubled by dreams of doing it again. Coupled with his anger at God for letting his new-born premature baby's death, he went off the deep end. I don't understand why he had to kill innocent children. Just a fucking wacko.

I was watching the CNN recap of the weeks news at 3am this morning. and you know.. the pseudo-Christians could take a page from the Amish with regards to their forgiveness etc.

Good point doc! Even with all the pain they are going threw they went to the funeral of the sicko that did it. I think a lot of people could learn from that.
