ive put up this free site and im not getting listed does anyone have any advice for a lowely newbie

Your content isnt on the same domain as your site....

1. I'm not sure where did you find those recips but they all at least 1 year old - most, if not all were updated while ago...
2. No title on the page (site name must be different from the one you promote)
3. Each and every part (html's, photos) must be hosted on the same domain...

Thats a great tool... ONLY if the owner of that site updates frequently - he is using OLD recips for many Link Lists - My site for example have changed my recip tables since Oct 2005 and I wont accept free sites using the old recips - many other Link Lists listed there also have changed their recip button or tabls - that is probably the number one reason you are not getting listed.

My suggestion is - go ahead and use that recip tool.. However, investigate further into each link list you submit to to make sure you are current on their rules and recips.

I went ahead and emailed him asking to change my recips to the correct ones, hopefully other future submitters wont be standing in your shoes and wondering what went wrong... Main rule for all submitters is READ THE RULES of EACH Link List you submit to! most of them are basically the same to be honest . the rules are straight forward and logical.

I know it's a pain in the ass and a whole lot like work but you should really be going to each and every linklist you want to submit to and make sure you're using up to date and proper recips, and read the rules while you're in the neighborhood. IMO you owe it to them, they're sending you traffic which equates to money.. a recip isn't payment enough, so at least do it right.

I don't mean to harp on you or anything.. just my $.02 on the matter.

read them top to bottom once, then every time you submit look over them for any changes & you should be ok |thumb

same problem here, my site isn't getting listed either.
does anybody know why?
