SS 2257 and some other things about free sites

Just a couple questions that have come to mind about free sites...

1.) How do you guys deal with the 2257 laws? Do you just flat out ignore them? I was under the impression that even if you are a secondary producer, you have to have records on hand.

2.) I've noticed that a lot of Affiliate programs offer free hosting... is this generally a bad idea? Like will you get refused from most LL if you use this?

3.) Is there a FAQ for those who are truly newbie to the whole thing like me?

thanks.

For the hosting of your site it is better to use a payed host.
they have much faster servers and are more stable. Plus some website's don't like it if you're on a free host so better not do that.
