Freesites question...

Hi everyone, I've been sending freesites for about a month. I send a freesite every 2 days to approximately 240 different Linklists. Doing that the most I generate is 60 clicks per day to the sponsor. The usual ratio of sales is 1/1500 so It would take me several days to get a single one sale (Its been a month and I just made only 1). Is there any way to increase the traffic sending freesites? How come there're people who send freesites and it work so much better for them than for me? |huh
Im sorry I came here to ask but I dont know what to do and Im getting frustrated...well, thank you for reading!

Heres a few example of my freesites

Others may disagree, but what's up with this new(?) thing where people submit to about 1 billion linklists? I mean annie, do you really do that by hand or are you auto submitting? Find the ones that send you traffic, cut it down to maybe 50 or so and save yourself the frustration.
I'm certainly no freesite king but my latest 3 weeks of submissions has made a sale a day on average and I don't submit to more than 40-50 lists.

I submit everything by hand (thats also one of the reason Im getting tired). Maybe Im not using the right sponsor or maybe the right sites... dont know why so much difference between me and the ppl who do make sales =/ Ill give a shot at what you say

You can submit to a gazillion LL's but if You dont get accepted at them, it wont help You much, did Your sites get accepted at all those LL's? I just scanned 1 of them quickly and don't see any reason why it shouldn't be accepted though. Some LL's take a while to accept Your sites, but some of them are definately worth the wait, be patient, keep submitting and You will get there I am sure. I just went thrue a 3 week dry spell in sales but now I just got a few sales in the last couple of days, so they sometimes come in periods I guess.

I've been learning all the rules everytime I got rejected heh, but right now most of LL accept my freesites :)

You might need to work on Your sales techniques then, I haven't had a real good look at Your sites so I can't say for sure, but You could go to a LL and have a look at other peoples freesites and see what they do to generate clicks to their sponsor and make sales

Without knowing how much traffic you get to your freesites there's not enough information to pinpoint your problem. Do you know what your clickthru rate is? Should be at least 10%.

60 clicks/day to sponsor doesn't sound like much when you're submitting to that many sites, but it's still early days for you and you need to give it more time to get the snowball rolling.

Get yourself a good form filler (RoboForm) and learn how to use it correctly to shave down the time you spend submitting.

Are you submitting to too many sites? Every click counts and you never know where the next sale will come from, only you can determine if it's worth your time. Just monitor your stats and drop the ones that don't send any traffic, but allow a reasonable amount of time for those with a backlog.

how can I get to know the sources of the sponsor clicks? I just get a number like "60 clicks today" but it doesnt tell me the original link list that has sent it. I also read link list dont allow freesites to have a counters or anything like that.

and thank you for the roboform advice! : )

Just look at your server stats. If you get 10,000 hits to your freesites and 1,000 of those click thru to sponsor you have CTR of 10%.

Hi Mighty Midget, well those figures kick ass, a sale a day after 3 weeks. I'm coming up to a month submitting and definitely not a sale a day, maybe a sale every 3 if I'm lucky. Getting accepted and most of the larger LL sites. Using deecash though, its finding the right damn sponsor, takes a while to get the traffic rolling each sponsor. Whats your advice? Still persist with same sponsor or try more? I submit to about 50 or so LL, I will be pushing it up higher soon though, and with a form filler its not too hard on you.
cheers
JD

Annie, I feel sure that you're subbing to too many LL's. Start weeding out asap. I've been submitting Free sites for about 2 years and I now have a list of about 80 LL's. I still review them regularly.
Check which LL's are listing your sites (don't forget some don't send out acceptance Emails). If you're not listed try and find out why. Email them or post a question here. Most of the big reputable LL owners use this board and are happy to answer queries.
I back up Lemmy's point about Roboform. Once you get used to it its a real timesaver! :)

15 free sites is not that much... my advice is to keep working and I'm sure you will see results you expect real soon.
And yeah, RoboForm is a great tool but it can cause you troubles if you dont use it properly... actually I used to use it but now I submit by hand only - I fucked up my submits few times using RoboForm and I was afraid some more fuckups may cost me too much.. I prefer to spend few more minutes and be safe rather then sorry.
