Good Back to Work Monday Morning (Only 28 Days Until Christmas)

With Thanksgiving over, hopefully things will get back to normal again. Everyone is finally home and Christmas Decorations are up and running smoothly :) Now if I didn't have to go see my lawyer today, I would be happy :)

Yesterday, we were stuck with crap games to watch. Since Buffalo didn't sell out, we had to watch the Jets play. By the scores and highlights, the Buffalo game looked good. If I could have gotten Directtv yesterday, I would have.

Very sad day for my Giants. I'm still reeling this morning...........

Have a good day everyone.

Ramster 2006-11-27 08:00 AM

Good Morning.

What a weekend. Caught a bad flu-bug on Friday and was down and out for 2 days. No internet, nothing. I couln't do anything at all but puke and sleep. :(

Feeling better and hopefully back to normal. Coffee is on and I can actually drink it. ;)

Obviously you didn't catch the Steelers game because then you would have seen real sadness. Talk about champs to chumps. |cry|

Good morning all.|waves|

Good morning,
Ramster get well soon please!

Fonz 2006-11-27 08:39 AM

Morning all,

I probably did too much sports this weekend. Everything hurts. On Friday I went snowboarding for 2.5 hours, on Saturday it was 90 minutes of soccer and yesterday there was the 2 hour "battle of the blogs" kart race (which we won btw :) ).
I think I've had enough action for a year now.

Ramster, get well soon.

Anyway, have a nice day all :)

Mike Vick now joins Chris Miller and Jeff George on the "growing list" of Falcon QB's to give the fans the finger.

Boy the Falcons just SUCK!

Morning..|yawn|

We had a record weekend and now my cubbard is uh bear. :D I had almost 1K in sales yesterday alone..way beyond our calculations. But I can safely say that people who are Xmas shopping are very grumpy.

Hopefully today I can work on our hubs, blogs and updates ..otherwise business as usual.

|waves| Have a fun Cyber Monday!!

So at what point will the Falcon fans start to think it may be them?? |huh
I'm not condoning the action, just making an observation :D

Simon 2006-11-27 09:27 AM

Good morning world |waves|

Need to get some things done for Fonz since I didn't get to them this weekend like I'd planed, then more fun with css and table-less layouts.

A good start of the week to all.

:)

Mornin' y'all,

Getting a late start this morning, feel like crap. I rarely leave the house but have still managed to catch a cold. May have to break out some of Grandpa's favorite 80 proof "cold remedy". |drunk|

Shouldn't that be fingers, plural? I believe I read that he gave them a double barrelled whammy. :D

That is really fucking weird - there is no way in hell that you should be in the blackout zone. I had my headphones on during the game listening to the radio broadcast & our play-by-play guy John Murphy mentioned 3 or 4 times that the 67,000 tickets that were sold for the game (Stadium holds 74,000 or so) were more than 3 or 4 sold-out games. 7,000 from a sell out is probably a bit too many to have a company buy them up (roughly $350,000) but fuck me, it hurt when I heard that this was the 1st game in the entire NFL season that did not sell out |cry|

Another thought crossed my mind when I head the standard Time Warner cable ad at the beginning of the game. I wish I had the actual copy that he read, but it was along the lines of "Bills Fans - if you couldn't get a ticket for the game, Time Warner has you covered with many High Def football games...."

Who couldn't get a ticket for a game that didn't sell out? How does Time Warner have you covered if the game is not on? If it was on, it wasn't in HD either |crazy|

I've got another rant on the NFL Network/Time Warner thing as well, but I'm saving that for my rant on LOR :D

Morning…

Just a day of work and doing stuff around the house without much else planned. I dropped my car off at the dealer's night drop late last night so I don't have a car today although I have a date tonight so it isn't like I'll be stuck home all day.

Espresso is on. :)

Morning!

I'm heart sick today. My dog Bruno is going to have to go |cry| For some reason he continues to show aggression at me. I've tried everything, got him neutered, have him in dog training but it's not working. Twice over the weekend he growled and grabbed my hand, and has bitten me pretty bad once already. He is a gorgeous German Shepherd, smart, trained and I love him dearly. He is 100lbs and extremely strong so I feel that he is a danger to really tear me up. So right now life sucks.

Have a good Monday all!

Our CBS channel comes out of Syracuse. A little closer to Buffalo but still, only an hour from here. All in all, it sucked watching the Jets game. But at lease it was in HiDef :) Even DishNetwork who has 2 CBS channels carried the Jets game on both.

That's where you, as the viewer, has to bitch at CBS Sports, because it looks like Syracuse is not a Buffalo market nor are they a NYC market - CBS Sports decided what markets get what games & they decided to give you the Jets game instead.

So send them a complaint - http://www.sportsline.com/help/contactus/usersspeak - you don't need a SportsLine ID & I send them feedback all the time.

.....or you could move to a real city that has a professional football team |couch|

Greenguy 2006-11-27 12:47 PM

Jim - Week 14 (Dec 10) will be a good test of where you sit as far as CBS. The NFL moved the Jets/Bills game to 4:00 - the other 4:00 game is Chargers/Broncos & based on those 2 games, the national TV audience will get the later.

I'll bet you a couple of bucks that you get the national game & not the Jets/Bills.

I am really sorry to hear about your dog. It's not good to fear your pet. :(

Sue:
Have you thought it might be some scent that is throwing him off? It could be your soap, lotion etc that threatens his olfactory sense and causes him to react.

Just a thought..
