question on deleting ccbill accounts
was wondering if there is an easy way to delete out of business accounts from my ccbill affiliate admin, i have all ccbill accounts under one master account and there are a ton of old sponsors that have gone out of business and i need to delete those some how.

Hello, All you need to do is contact our client support department with a list of accounts that you no longer want linked and we can remove them from your affiliate admin stats.

I have never found a way to do that. I had heard they are changing up the affiliate program (rumour???) maybe that will be an option. I've got a boat load that need to be purged.
edit: Paul and I must have been typing at the same time. Good to know. ccbill. ;)|waves| |

You may want to include your username for securities sake and we can take care of it very quickly for you. |

Mine is a mess with all the dead or un-promoted programs, but I'd hate to delete them from my account in case they came back to life or I needed to look at some old stats (not to mention programs that moved to NATS, which are "dead" as far as promoting them, but still active due to old members/rebills) |

So they will still be active and you will be able to login to them separately but you just won't see them when you login to the main account. |

Paul CCBill sent out a request for new features a few months back. This had to be one of the biggest on the list. From owning a ccbill account and being an affilate thing can get dirty on both sides. On a management side you can't even delete subaccounts, you can only wait for them to become inactive. Affilate problems have been said already. I take it ccbill like most web software is running off a DB. What's the issue with not being able to delete anything. I have called my rep as told my client support and 90% of the time he can get some special things done. But why can't this be done. I'm sure 100% of your active clients would like this. Is it a IRS thing? Cause that's the only reason I can think of why your company would not create a delete option like this.

I cannot tell you the specifics but it is mainly for history and tracking purposes. I can understand your frustration but in the case of subaccounts, often they can be used for future domains and in the case of affiliate accounts they can be unlinked so you no longer have to see them when you login.
I completely understand what you are saying but unfortunately, for the time being, we are just unable to delete certain things. |
That's good to know, a long time ago I called about that, and was told it was not possible.
Hey Paul, hypothetically....If I requested some to be "unlinked" so I didn't see them anymore, can I request them to be "linked" again at a later date without signing up to those programs again? Can I do that back and forth daily if I'm bored? ;) |

I know this thread is 4 years old, but I'm wondering if this is still the only way to delete accounts from the affiliate admin?

Paul, I have a different question: Is it possible to merge 3 affiliate master accounts into 1?

Happy New Year to you and all CCBill people. Soon I am going to start a new Latina paysite and CCBill will be my first choice :-) |
