Happy Friday Before Christmas
 

Up early today and decided to stop by and say good morning :)
I have been really taking time off and it's been nice. I check my email for about an hour each morning and then I am done for the day.

Anyway, our Christmas deliveries should be done today to all the families on our list. Been doing that since Monday. I hope you guys start to take a little time off to enjoy the season. Have a great day. :)

It's nice to have a morning thread that starts early. Otherwise I get busy with things and seem to miss getting back here in time for it to still be morning. That's probably just all the extra things that fill up a schedule at this time of year.

Well, I've had two days of shepherding a newsletter, this weekend I'm taking some time off like a wise man, and if we keep getting this nice rain I'll be sleeping like a baby in a manger. How's that for Christmas spirit?

Anyone else having problems with the net since late yesterday? I cannot get to tons of sites. At first I couldn't get to this site 10 minutes ago. I can't get to some sponsors and some of my own sites. Anyone else having this problem? I tried a tracert and it won't even resolve them so there's a problem somewhere.

well I'm so glad it's not just me! I've had sites timing out, my email is screwed up, everything takes forever to load...I thought I'd been infected or something. Maybe it's holiday overload?? Good time to take a break from the screen, I think ;)

I watched Rudolph in HD last night |thumb When you think about it, the story is really fucking cruel - nobody likes Rudolph (including his father) because of his nose. Hermie is shunned because he wants to further his education & become a dentist. An island full of shitty toys no one wants. A Bumble just going about his business has his teeth removed w/out anesthesia. In the end, Rudolph is used - and 2 reindeer have to sit out because of his nose. Rotten 60's Christmas Writers!

Well, enough of that :) The usual work today & then down to the Pool House to clean up for the holidays. Murray gets here tomorrow afternoon & we'll have pizza & wings waiting for him |thumb

goodmorning, well midday 4.06 here:) finally its fryday, kids are home from school, hubby is on his way and our holiday can start, no more waking up at 5.30 in morning and start networking at 6.00 morning for the next 2 weeks|bananna| i have cleaned the house, i have all the presents, i have all the groceries, i have arrange all the things for christmas and all is arranged for our 7 days holiday away after christmas, i will not be around on the net much, well the next 7 days i will try to drop in sometimes till igo away for a holiday then 7 days totally no net:D now i am hanging around! I bet you're using Rogers. I am on hold RIGHT now and their automated system is saying they are having problems and they are working on it. Hopefully it gets fixed soon. I think I'll hang up since the automated system told me what I need to know. LOL

All my fellow vendors on aisle H decided to get together yesterday and we had our own H-party. Everyone brought something and we put it on a table in one of the bigger booths.. at least our aisle "looked" busy. What a variety of stuff from KK donuts to sandwiches from Quiznos (from me) and some odd stuff like candy covered peanuts and falaffal. Quite fun actually.

I was watching it last night too I had the exact same thought going thru my head. I have seen it 100's of times, but this is the first time I realized just how mean it is. Maybe having little ones myself has changed my perspective. The most brutal part I thought was when the fake nose popped off at the reindeer games and then Santa, FUCKING SANTA! tells Rudolph's dad that he oughta be ashamed of himself because of his son's nose.

Just a regular old boring day of work here for me.
