Feedback and maybe a few tips?
 

Well I created my first AVS site. (Ok, not my very first, but the first one I plan updating and spending time on). I was wondering if I could get some feedback and criticism and maybe even a few tips from all you experienced webmasters.

Looks pretty good I think. On the front page you should cut the square pics that are inside the round "female" symbol. You have already done it on page 2 I see.

Maybe throw a pic or something on the login page. Right now it is just the script that is there... maybe a naughty looking girl gone bad to tip over those doubters that might remain :)

And a VERY minor thing I noticed... the dropshadow on the girl symbol gets cut off on the right edge. This happens because the picture is only a few pixels wider than the symbol itself. Ok ok I know its a petty thing (I just can't help noticing such stuff)... |bananna|

The front page is a new layout/design compaired to the second page. On the front I wanted the female symbol to look like it's leaning and resting on the pics. (overlapping as well). I take it by your response that you like the graphics on the second page better (which was the very first design).

The reason I didnt have any pics or anything on the login page because I was thinking it would strictly be for members, all other "sales" link go directly to the AVS signup page. But I think you may be right, I should throw up a couple extra sample pics, as well as some more dialogue for those that wander to that page.


Wow, good eye for details, even after I read that the drop shadow cuts off it took me a while to see it. Your right it is minor, but it is also important in its own light, after all, the graphics feed the illusion the site promotes.
