could someone point in the direction of a good resource site for a first timer? i would like to add one to the site. thanks.

What host do you have, it might be worth having a look around in the control panel as many give one touch installs for blogs. I have tried blogger.com and wordpress.org For me there is only one and it has to be wordpress.

If you're setting up a blog TightTeela I'd suggest you take a quick peek at Walrus' published articles. You don't have to absorb it all, but being aware of the knowledge available can help you form the right questions. ;)

I've been meaning to do a blogging for beginners type of article. Perhaps someday I'll stop the procrastination.
