Link Lists Beware - Cheater
 

Well here's another cheating fuck! Been spending all day manually going through links and it amazes me how many assholes out there add consoles and more. But when someone deletes the recip links it really pisses me off since Very little traffic ever clicks those recips.

Found this guy doing it on some of his sites:

Just had a few links left I had to remove.

What agravates me is people removing recips. I hold all submissions for a month now. If they remove the recips.... submissions get deleted and I blacklist them. I make it well known to submitters that submissions are being held. I guess people either don't read or are using auto submitters.

Oh well, patience is not a virtue amongst webmasters I guess. I would rather list minimal sites and just keep those who ARE patient and give good quality sites than fill my lists up with junk.. and it pays off :)

I've stopped banning domain names, instead I ban domain ip's. Obviously someone with legit free sites/galleries might be banned but I'm not going to waste hours going thru each gallery.

I don't have a linklist so I don't know who the cheaters are, but by the looks of it it's the same assholes that I've banned on my MGP.

I am very sorry for that problem with recips. I have never so far intentionaly removed any recips from my free sites or other links page.

I've been in this business for over 3 years and I apreciate having good relations with people I get traffic from.

If you'd check the page coding you would notice that there is line of php include code that wasn;t interpreted by server - this line is with recips to all sites I trade with.

I changed server to dedicted 3 weeks ago and looks like my admin didn;t put php parsing on that domain. I normaly put recips normaly in html code but there was some time ago I played with php inculdes - but I prefer adding them in html code to have more control on it.

I am now adding php parsing to that domain and in few minutes all recips should be back.

If you find it appopriate, I would kindly ask to have my ban removed - if not I can understand your angry on me - but trust me - I didn't have any aim in cheating you. I don;t like when people cheat me, and I do my best not to cheat other. Long lasting relationship is in my opinion the most important thing in this (and other) businesses

Once again sorry for the mess with recips. I hope at least you will accept my apology.

P.S. I am manually adding my sites to LL so I am not AutoSubmitting to LL.

When i first started doing free sites, I was told one thing KISS (keep it simple stupid), who needs all this fance crap coding junk, its only gunna cause problems in long run. Make a site, hard code in those recips and leave the sucker alone...thats my oppinion

I don't like that one bit. And if it was just one site, maybe. But you had a ton of sites doing this. Don't you think you should have made sure everything moved correctly? During a server move noone can check every site but one thing I'd check is my banners directory and my recips directory to be sure those important things are working.

Also, you should not be submitting under all these different emails and user names.

I ban for using multiple nicks and e-mails.

It's no wonder so many LLs shut down. What a pain in the ass! Kudos to you guys for keeping up the good fight.

Ramster - This might help you with your problem:

1. Use the search function on Link Admin and search for that domain.

2. Copy all of the info you have on the listing.

3. Delete the links

4. Use the search function and look for the email address.

5. Delete those sites.

6. Add everything to your blacklist.

That's how I deal with a cheater.
