Account with proBilling

Since I returned from Vegas, I have been putting some final test on my hosted sites and galleries for my paysites. I have discovered that the sign up with my processor, proBilling, sucks.

I am wondering how many of you already have accounts with proBilling.

We have an account with Probilling, expensive and turn down to many. No good what so ever unless the card holder resides in the US.

IMHO

I find their rates to be a little cheaper than others.

Here is my potential problem. Someone signs up to promote my sites - proBilling has to approve them and then I have to approve them. Right now I have a guy that signed up for proBilling 38 hours ago and has not been approved by them. So by the time I get him approved he has lost interested in promoting my stuff.

Got to be honest if a webmaster is going to ge turned off by having to wait to be approved it's better off without him. It shows you are careful and solid, not approving everyone instantly.

With the new rules on CB I can understand why they are careful, but approvla should be done within 18 hours, they should work the hours if they want the business.

Paul, I agree with the approval process but I think that 24 to 48 hours is a little much. I think they go down on the weekends.

I agree. I pulled out of MultiCards when they told me we would not be getting our bank transfer becasue the girl who did it was on holiday. |pissed|

If these companies want Internet business they have to realise ti works 24/7 not 8/5.

I was using ProBilling but found their affiliate program impossible to deal with, plus they have bumped their fees and scrub like mad too. That is why I went with CCBill for hunkmoney - simple, trusted and here for the long term!

cheers,

Luke
