Newish Concept LL - Submit - Critique

I've just opened a new site (literally like an hour ago) that uses an existing concept in a sort of new way. The site is www.fapolicio.us (I know, I'm practically begging Yahoo to sue me). The basic idea can be gleaned by anyone familiar with most social bookmarking sites. However, this is social bookmarking for the Adult web.

All are free to join. All are free to post links. Be creative with your tagging. The more people that post a given site; the higher it ranks for certain tags. The idea is that better sites will be listed by more people and this will bring a sort of meritocracy to the Link List.

I encourage you to join and add your sites. I simply ask that you don't post any manipulative sites or popup hells. If I have to start editing a mysql database to get your links out, I won't be too happy.

I'm also interested in hearing what all the other webmasters here think of this idea. Do you trust the porn-watching public to post and tag the best sites?

Nope - but I trust that you will have loads of links and tags as soon as the spammers discover your site :)

Obvioulsy, sites where the user has some level of control over the content are very popular today. However, allowing surfers to add the links themselves is a huge error. It's begging for spam and links to unfriendly/illegal sites. If you could create two separate classes of users - one webmaster and the other surfer, you could then deny surfers the ability to add links while allowing them some other less important freedoms. Maybe voting? On an adult site, you never want to allow surfers to add outgoing links.

You're very obviously right. I hadn't even begun to think of the possible legal ramifications of letting all users add links.

That said, I'm liking the idea of voting, or maybe I could just let users add a certain site to their favorites, and give them the ability to just add tags.

Hmm...
