How long have you waited for your first sales?

How was it with your first sites ?

I think you probably got lucky. If it was really that easy, even more people would start in this business and stay. But who knows, maybe you are just that good :)

Sales? As in more than one? In my experience, a sale from the initial rush of traffic of a new listing is an odd event. But I do suck. :D

May I ask if you built that site yourself, or was it built by/purchased from another GG&Jim member? Not making an accusation, but its style was strangely familiar. I just noticed that the link to it, which you provided in the newbie forum, is now 403/forbidden.

Got my first one pretty fast aswell, but after the first one it was very irregular. Took quite long a while before making a nice & stable income.

I've fixed the 403/forbidden problem ! It came after I modified something in my .htaccess while trying to install a link directory script !

I built it on my own after seeing how others have built their sites ! But I realy didn't steal from others!

It was few years ago so I don't remember :) but I'm sure that my first sale was from thehun :)

I'm not quite sure, since it was years ago, but I guess it was a couple of weeks or so.

Mine was quite quick, a few days I think, it was a PussyCash sign up for 6BuckBBW, and in that moment of pant-wetting-pleasure I knew things were going to be just great.....

The hardest thing I find now is making the decision to go to bed when it gets to a stupid time. 3am, 4am and beyond....
I wonder how many of us have thought: "I still have time to just quickly start that thing I was thinking about", and another hour creeps past....and another....

time always goes by way too fast. I never can get to everything I think I can in a day.

mine was from a story gallery of all things, listed on the hun.

Mine was pretty quick too, but that was way back when anything would sell. Didn't last though. Funny enough my sheep site was a sort of protest/joke against humanity for not paying to see my ladies pics. I had a bunch of pay per click sponsors up and since people couldn't wait to get the hell out of the sheep site, I made money :D and gave the naked ladies another try ;)

I cant even remember back that far (sometime back in '99). But I was looking at some of my past stats since I started doing free sites. I beleive my first free site submission was around Jan 24 of '06 and my first sale I saw on that sponsor was on Feb. 11th. So pretty much a couple weeks to get my first sale on free sites.

Now a year later I would say around 90% my money comes from free sites in one way or another. Just build until you think you cant anymore and then build some more after that. And after a while things will snowball and you'll be seeing sales everyday.

1st sale on second day, 1 sale daily minimum. About 2k $$ during first month. Was just Tommy's traffic + huge luck (free site hanged at 1st place in category for few weeks - Tommy got troubles with wife and didn't renew site for long time as I remember).

Well, I actually lucked out in that a major sponsor was pushing some very high quality traffic to a site he let a few people post galleries on. I was making sales left and right. I cried the day he stopped doing it

I made my 1st sale from the hun listing in 2002...
