Happy Back to Work Monday
 

Good Morning
After many hours of football, 24, Rome and Extras, I am a little TV burned out :) For the first time in quite a few years, there is no TV on in my office. Kind of quiet but still, really nice.

And as for football, both teams I wanted to win, didn't. But, I did win a little money. :) Chicago is a little like Dallas, I think. Most people either love them or hate them. I think it has a lot to do with the Superbowl Shuffle. Some things are just unforgivable :)

I'm up early as we have to head out on a helicopter tour of The Grand Canyon - have to meet up with the Aussies at 6 |banghead|

Got in around 5 yesterday & already saw most of the people I wanted to see: docholly, Tart, Kinky, Sir Moby, Murray, The MaryLou's, Ramster (and his 2 Canuck friends), DrB & Linkster, who made the trip at the last minute, scummed a suite from Mandalay Bay & won a wad of cash on a slot machine |bow|

Top Bucks had a pretty cool party last night. |bananna|

Man am I glad 24 is back! That had to be the most graphic one ever last night (those that watched know what I'm talking about)!! |shocking|

About time you went on that tour. Vickie's dream was to smoke a joint on the floor of the canyon and the day we took the tour, her dream came true :) It is one of the best things to do in Vegas. Try to get he front seat. :)

Tonights episode even made the headline of the drudgereport :) Stupid things he reports on.

Good Morning why am I up at 5am damn time zone my body is set for EST :)

I can barely see across the street with the amount of snow falling here right now. Only 10 cm's are expected to fall.. but last night they had said 15-20! Well we'll see!

First, what the hell is the Christmas Tree burning thing?

And, one of my favorite things I have ever done was the helicopter ride to the grand canyon. From taking off with the Mission Impossible theme playing to the hours of flying to get there and back. The wine and cheese in the canyon was nice but no where as nice as the flight. The part of the canyon that got me was how quiet it was. I don't think I have ever been any place with that much of a total lack of sound.

Yeah, one of the best things about Vegas is the view of the Grand Canyon. Actually it's kind of surprising that some casino hasn't built their own replica already. It would fit in nicely with the Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty and Venetian gondolas.

Another day of learning about things I don't know how to do. Good thing I like that.

Overcast but warm day here with no ice or snow.
Just another day of work planned after spending a few hours at the gym.

Had dreams that were bazaar even by bazaar standards last night. Still not completely sure if I'm really awake yet.

I reckon that there is pretty close to 10cm on the ground already, with no sign of it letting up anytime soon.

Well our lives got turned upside down yesterday. We were just about to sit and watch the games and our daughter called. Her and her boyfriend broke up and she moved back in once again..|banghead|
So my office is now my grandsons bedroom, and my pc is back in our bedroom. Living with a four year old will be a challenge. So we went from FINALLY having the house to ourselves to having two of our kids and our grandson living here. |cry| But we will all adjust eventually, I hope |thumb

Good morning everyone.
What a great morning..I get to call my IPS and find out wtf is going on with my connection.
Downloading is ok..most of the time.
But uploading is an issue and someplace between me and our servers..something fucked is going on.
Just within the last week..things been acting weird.
I get alot of timing out or pauses, uploading.

People bring their old Christmas trees, throw them on a pile and light them on fire. Add some champagne, oysters and beer in the mix and you got yourself a Christmas tree burning thing :)
