Do you celebrate Valentines Day?

I know many people don't care much for it & say it's a ficticious holiday.
I myself have never paid much attention to it at all.

What is your opinion on V-day... Will you be celebrating it if you are currently in a relationship??
Anyone particularly love or hate it?

That's the day I met my wife so it's an anniversary and a very special day for us :)

we dont have an officialy valentines day here, but still the shops are full with love things and all that stuff, correct me if i am wrong: valentinesday is for the one you love but cant reach or dont have an realationship with right? Here they promote it : give your lover a nice valatineday present, so that will be the wrong thought. And since hubby and me are so long together...we see eachother as a piece of furniture who are doomed to be together, he doesnt have to show and i dont, the day he will give me something for valetinesday...i will know he is having an affair with a other lady and i will kill him:D

This day is one more opportunity to show one's love...

xcitecash 2007-02-05 04:07 AM

Its not a holiday .

but we got married just before christmas so i guess we need to do something this time

Lera 2007-02-05 05:02 AM

We never celebrate it...we consider it very commercial. As I know many do.

Valentine's Day sucks for me. Two days after is my lovely wife's birthday. So, I end up getting 2 gifts. This year is a big birthday and she has asked for a new Corvette or a Cadillac Convertible. I still don't know what I am getting her but it might be one gift for both.

A couple years back my girlfriend dumped me on Valentine's Day |banghead|

I moved on but since that happened I don't like Valentine's Day anymore :D

That is too cruel. To dump on Valentine's Day. |angry| But still you should hope for the better. Remember, every cloud has its silver lining.:D

I celebrate it only if I have a G/F, that's obvious. This year I'm thinking hard about a present I could give to HER... I suppose it'll be something connected with jewellery. Nothing original, but that's what she would be glad to get in any case.
