subdomains vs. folders

I am making a little kinda of a review site, i would like to know what is best, to put each review in a subdomain or just in a folder on a root domain, what would be best for the SE's you guys think?

IMO a folder in the root domain

I would do neither. Put all the pages in the root, keeping all the pages less than two clicks from the root index page. ;)

ohh so its better to have all the sites in the root of the domain, instead of it all categorized in 2453 sub-sub-sub folders? ;)

(At this time) Google sees subdomains as seperate sites, so in that respect I guess it would be better to use subdomains, in as much as you may be lucky enough to secure all the top 10 places for one search, where as you couldn't using folders.

While subdomains could be helpful in the SE's, just remember, many webmasters dont like linking to submdomains. Many scammers have ruined that one. Just something to keep in mind.
