I need to find any adult websites that have “wicked” in the url and is not owned by Wicked pictures.

Any adult websites that have “Pleasure” in the url and is not owned by Pleasure Productions.

Don’t worry this has nothing to do with Wicked or Pleasure. This is to use as examples for a domain dispute where Kick Ass Pictures is trying to steal our 2 TGP’s kickassgalleries.com and kickasspornstars.com.

Surprisingly most adult production companies don’t have trademarks!

Kenny - I thought those belonged to AJ? I posted to him on another board quite some time ago that they dont own a mark on those terms - and that any good domain lawyer will be able to help get rid of that annoyance once and for all. Of course, unless a lawyer has already served you with papers they dont have any valid claim yet anyway.

I bought the domains from AJ a while ago and yes I've been served, it's not at the Forum for Disputed domain names. We've been going back and forth with the KAP lawyer.

They seem to think they have a valid claim if their going to pay to fight me.

Or they were playing a bluff hoping you would't fight.

Well- based on old disputes - what ever you do dont offer to sell them the names :)
Id get a quick lawyer that can handle Icann disputes and file the dispute first

The dispute has been filed, this is round 2 of the the arguments. I'll let you all know the outcome

wow this again lol, it was proven their trademark was on a graphic, not the term kickass there was a thread alongtime ago about this can't believe it's still going on....

It seems these guys are not capable of making money any other way and they announces that this was their business model so the lawyer will come after everyone in an attempt to get you to cave in.

I hope that you can sue for your lawyer fees.

Baby maker nothing was proven and it has nothing to do with a graphic. The case is now in front of WIPO and it's not a simple one as much as it might seem so from the outside.

Two great sites!

My husband has been taken to court twice over domain names. The biggest thing on your side is that you have generic terms that you cannot trade mark 'kick' 'ass' 'galleries'. You even have your own 'Ass' logo so they really do not have a leg to stand on.

The other thing they might try and claim is passing off, but again, your sites are so different I cannot see a chance of them winning. It is NOT possible to trade mark a generic word. Probably why most productions companies don't bother.
