SE Ranking Tools

Does anybody know of any sites or tools that will show you where you place in Google,MSN,Yahoo that aren't simply page rank tools.

I have found a couple that only show the first 1000 pages. Need to go further down. Anybody??

http://www.digitalpoint.com/tools/keywords/ I use this one all the time..

I have'nt used the digital point one for some time, but I do remember, it was limited. Seems it would'nt much more than a couple hundred pages a day. Plus it use a Google API key, and google limits the number of queries per day per key. Some queries on the digital point one used more than one query. Thats the only one I know of.

I use these two, and both tool add themselves to the bottom of the browser. They work great! try them out. http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ and http://tools.seobook.com/firefox/seo-for-firefox.html

start with backlinking and cross promotion .you can also start partnerships with other websites that allow you to cross promote your services, newsletters, and other products.

WTF does that have to do with SE Ranking Tools?

Maybe Im missing something here but since the SEs dont show more than 1000 pages for a query why would it be important to find your rank that far down - which then would bring up the question of what is wrong that would cause a page to buried that far - I can see 1000 places maybe but 1000 pages is ranking worse that #10000 at best(assuming you are only looking at 10 SERPs per page) - and you would be spinning your wheels worrying about where you rank in that range.
The time to search that far down even with a tool could be spent adding content (text writeups etc) and would get you up in the range where you could see the pages in the first 10 pages or so

Think he is asking, finding out how his pages rank if he has over 1,000 pages to check. I know the digital point had a limit of 1,000 pages at a time, but that was because of the google api query limit. Although you still could'nt do 1,000 pages anyways.

If I understand his question right.

BigVikingAl 2007-02-19 06:42 PM

Yes you are right ronnie.

ronnie 2007-02-19 07:19 PM

The only one I ever used was the digital point one and think I was lucky to get a couple hundred pages, maybe. Thats the onky one I know of. And I believe any one for google has to use their API to mine the data, so always going to be that limitation because the have a query limit. Unless that's changed. I stopped watching page per page long time ago. Just beating your head every day.:)

Ahhh - definitely read the question wrong :)

Whatever you do - do not get something like those webmaster gold packages that do the auto checking for you- easiest way to get banned in Google

SmithsMedia 2007-02-20 08:12 PM

I know this is slightly off topic though the only tool I have used until they banned me was MS Submit - I got to use it for week till they moaned that the sites I was running through it were porn.

The results however were exceptional esp on MSN, I have pleaded and even written to MS to let me back on though they wont, a shame as it really did help with predictions and actual SE placement. :(
