Ars Byot?

Hey Everyone-
im fairly new to the board, so hopefully ive posted my question in the right section! Ive been building free and avs/aen sites, and decided to try and branch out by building an ARS BYOT tour.

While I know its not the best, I've already gotten some good ideas for improvement if I do future ones. I have a few questions I wanted to put out to all my fellow webmasters concerning the ARS BYOT program:
1. Has anyone has success or failures with it? Do you think its worth your time?
2. How do you promote your BYOT tour?
3. How do you get the word out there so that other webmasters might promote the BYOT site I designed?

Ive done some PPC advertising for my BYOT site, added banner & text links on my avs sites and will be building some free sites and movie gallery pages. Things have been going pretty decently so far, so wish me luck!

thanks

While I don't build them, I do use a shitload of the BYOT's on my links & they convert rather well.

I've poked around the ARS board for the BYOT's - http://stats.adrevservice.com/publis...c65ea5d35733ad - a few times - I've seen a few people that have their own sites that advertise their BYOT's & have different banners & whatnot for promoting. You might want to read thru the threads over there for some ideas :)

Hi romeoboi |waves| welcome to the board :)

I don't use their BYOT links, but I haven't heard any negative comments about them.

I work for ARS and can tell you that they are a huge money maker if its a good design. Some of the best BYOT creators out there make over $1000 a week with their byot's and build byot's for other people for about the same price.

To get the word out there, post on the ARS message board about your tour. You get a one-time announcment about your BYOT. People are always looking for the next best byot, so if people see it and like it, they will throw traffic at it and tell their friends. Also, the more good promo and variety of promo you supply the better.

I've thought about designing some byot but the rules and regulations give me a headache. Maybe I'll give it a try one day when I have some time. I've been curious to see how they do.

Hey MattB |waves|

I don't think we met in Vegas. I did talk with Marc De on the second day of the event.

Hi surfn,

Nope, I dont think we met. If you went to the gameworks party I was the ultra sexy dude in the tan leather coat working the door. The convention was a blast. Went to some good seminars and I met a ton of cool people. I'll have to catch up to you at the next conference surfn. :)
