Good Happy Sunday Morning

A fine morning to everyone :)
Shit, I was going to say we have no new snow and the big birthday is over but I just looked and it appears we may have another 4 inches. That would bring it to a total of about 50 inches since Wednesday. But, the birthday is over :) At least I have that :)

I'll take care of getting rid of the snow later. 4 inches is nothing to get excited about. I will be here until noon. My Daughter and Grandchildren are staying until Tuesday |huh

Good morning world |waves|

Lovely day in paradise. Temp in the 60s today, maybe some rain later but I won't have to shovel it.

Not sure what I'm going to do today yet, but I think I'll spend some of it outside again.

A great Sunday to all.

:)

Good Morning Everyone |sun

Unseasonably cold here this morning once again (28) but we are heading for 60 according to the weather forecast.

I have no idea what is on the agenda today. I'm sure I'll think of something. :)

lorsha 2007-02-18 08:06 AM

Couple more inches overnight here as well. What an amazing 2 part winter this has been. Have a great day all. |waves|

Cleo 2007-02-18 09:00 AM

Chilly morning everyone :)

Woke up to my youngest cat freaking out tangled up in some wires. While trying to set her free she pissed all over the place including me. I figure the rest of the day has to go better.

All my house guests are gone but I may have some back before the day is over. Doing the gym once I'm awake and then I'm shooting chicks with dicks having sex starting late this afternoon.

MrMaryLou 2007-02-18 09:08 AM

Good Morning All :) Today is my Wifes Birthday :) Plus it's turn left go fast day too :)

Good Sunday Peoples |buddy|

Happy Birthday MaryLou |waves|

After a work filled morning, I spent yesterday on the couch watching hockey. Sabres lost in a SO - tied at 0-0 after 6 shooters, Boston trickled one past Miller :(

Gonna do the same today - lots of work until 1 or so & then I'll wash my ass & park it on the couch for the big race |thumb

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Sunday!

Snowing when I went to bed last night and still snowing now... its a light snow now so not too much on the ground.. just enough to get outside and play with the snowblower ;)

Have a great day Everyone!

Mr Exotic 2007-02-18 10:57 AM

We got around 3 new inches of snow yesterday, so I got to shovel for the second time within a week. Watched all the NBA all star stuff last night, it was pretty funny seeing Barkley beat that old ref dude running backwards the last half length and then that old dude doing a Petie at the finish line, did anyone see the blood running down his leg on the post race interview, haha. Even though I probably shouldnt I am pretty much taking the day off workwise, just going to do the bare minimum today. Hope everyone has a good finish to their weekend.

cd34 2007-02-18 11:14 AM

good morning. no snow. temps in the mid 60s today. I need to set up my webcam so I can see what it looks like outside. Looks like the perfect day to spend puttering around the house helping Intel debug their latest driver for their E1000 cards and doing a quick rework to some scripts.

Email to my three-letter-agency friend bounced this morning.

MML, tell MrsMaryLou that I said Happy Birthday.

well, back to mangling some code so I can test a theory this week.

Maybe he left the UFO agency to find a new planet for anal probing.

Wow am I exhausted and I still have a long night of shooting ahead. I think I need to be cloned a few times. Hmmm… I wonder what it would be like to have sex with your clone?

Good Morning.

Long day of parading yesterday followed by huge meal of fresh gulf seafood, then a good night's sleep. Supposed to be at the Pass Christian parade right now, but I honestly don't feel like dealing with the crowds today. I think I'll cook some triple decker black angus cheeseburgers, smoke a couple of joints, and go my butt back to bed.
Then again, maybe I'll skip the food and just get stoned and sit on the couch staring at the wall.

Have a great day at the parades or on the couch or whatever you choose to do!

We've been to the parade in Pascagoula a few times and had a great time. Crowds weren't bad at all. We could walk right up to the floats and they would just hand us mounds of stuff. I think they had something like 60 units so we were loaded down with beads, moon pies, stuffed animals, trinkets, etc.

FanTC 2007-02-18 12:54 PM

The Pascagoula Parade is as different as night and day compared to the Pass Parade. Pascagoula may have 25,000 folks on the route, whereas the Pass Christian Parade will have 75 to 100,000. Before Katrina, when there were still buildings on the parade route, there would usually be a minimum of a keg every 5th or 6th building, yard, or whatever structure lined the route.
In 05 before the storm, we walked 5 miles from our "close" parking spot. Generally in the Pass, you park a vehicle on the route at least a week in advance or invest in good walking shoes. I had a buddy that used to charge 50 bucks a head for folks to stand in his yard right on the parade route.
It's low 40s right now here and the wind coming off the gulf would make it a bit chilly to stand out there today, plus I'm sure I'd wind up in jail for slapping the shit out of some drunk.

emmanuelle 2007-02-18 01:12 PM

FanTC- I have an embarassing number of beads that I've 'earned' over previous years down there.

In the fall, I was helping to gut an elderly lady's house and in her waterlogged attic we found a huge treasure trove of coins and beads going back decades. I couldn't help but wonder if she earned those herself :D

If you need a hand, I am very experienced with mangling code

I was cheering for Buffalo last night, had them and the Leafs as my key pics in Ontario's sports lottery :( The Leafs barely hung on, if a game goes to OT it's considered a tie.

Linkster 2007-02-18 02:49 PM

Well - finally getting back to normal around here - should have loads of time to play online - with the occasional break for high speed left turn watching from Daytona :)

Happy Birthday to Mrs MML |bananna|

Not gonna get to any parades this year - although I think Ive still got about 20 copy paper boxes full of coins and beads and assorted other cocanuts, crawfish and whatever else I got over the years - Hope theres no moonpies left in there although one would go real good with a cold RC right now

Exactly. With only 25,000 people there's plenty of room for us drunks to stagger and fall without bumping into anyone. :D

Morning...

Ok i realize that EVEN for Lost Vegas this is late.. but hey we are a 24 hour town ..

I'm sooo glad the NBA will be leaving in the next 24 hours and i do not plan on being on the streets until around noon on Tuesday..
