Good and bad softwares

Those questions have been asked in my welcome post, but perhaps, it will be perhaps more usefull here for the freesites submitters and also more viewed.

hesitate to use roboform and novasubmitter to submit by hand, but seems that lot of submitters prefere roboform, why?

the problem is that if i use roboform, do i have to use another script to manage my database and to create my recips index and directories? and if yes, which one?

and if i use novasubmitter to submit by hand and use its database to create my index's with recips, is it the best solution?

Most people use programs like roboform to speed up the submit process, they can auto fill alot of the data, instead of typing everything in by hand. I sure could'n tell you which is good or bad, never used any myself.

The big point to most LL owners is that you actually visit their submit page to submit your sites. Sure none of them care how you get the form filled out, just as long as your not using auto submit software to doing your submitting.

I use sweep for filling in submit forms.

I use firefox which helps fill in most fields and notepad (copy&paste) for rest. ;)

Same here, it's fast and easy, and free.

Ok for manual submitting :)

But to build all your index's with the recips?
everyday, you go on all the recips pages of the linklists you submit to, then copy and past on your index's?
And repeat this action every day???

Perhaps 1 or 2 hours every day only to past the right recips on your index's? (imagine, if u submit to around 100-150 linklists !!!)

That's one way of doing it. OR, you could build your recip table once (for each niche you submit to) and just re-use it (ya know, the old copy & paste trick). :D

Welcome to the board BTW.

Or another option might be...

Next time you make a freesite for say "cumshots", copy your recip table (just the table) and open notepad and paste it into a blank notepad, save it as cumshots01.txt, upload it to your server (i created a recips folder on mine to hold all my ssi text recip files - 5 txt files per niche X 15 niches i might build in), and next time you build a cumshots site, you could simply call that text file via ssi.

So instead of searching out recips each time, you could use one line of code on your freesite each time to call the text file which holds your recip table. This may not be to your liking, but it works for me.

The copy and paste your previous table method will work as well as Lemmy suggested. |thumb

Don't for Christ sake make new recip tables every time you make a new site - it'll be never-ending. Do as these guys have suggested. Once you've made your free site you can then make your mirrors and insert the recip tables either by SSI or copy and paste. You should then be able to submit to 100 or more LL's in an hour, no problem using something like Roboform. As with most things in this business its not so much the doing its the preparation that's important. :)
