Subdomains...
 

Is it good practice to have several subdomains in order to display one's different sites? I was thinking I would use subdomains then I could feature my Hardcore gallery as well as my amateur and teen galleries without having to have several different domain names. Also, do most webhosts allow you to use subdomains and is there any extra cost involved?? Any hosts that you would recommend?

Personally I just use sub folders.

Using sub domains sends up a big red flag with most of us link list owners since they seem to get forgotten about and end up going 404 far too often.

Subdomains suck IMO! They regularly go 404/403/etc..

Just use sub-directories.

There maybe some small SE advantage to using subdomains... abut they can also countagaist you as "domain" spamming.
