Morning
A few feet of snow, rain and 60 degrees = lots of flooding. Roads and schools are closed all over and the only thing left to do is shut down the power :)

And then this morning I heard the word, Noreaster. The last one brought us about 4 feet of snow on Valentines Day.

It's wet here. the furnace broke but because it doesn't feel like winter we don't care so much. Global warming has saved me money on heating. I can't wait till the palm trees start sprouting up.

I woke up very early today for some unknown reason. I'll be tired and grumpy all day so be nice to me :)

Finally a day with nothing I have to leave here to get done. So I should be able to get more work done on that new project...well, as long as there's nothing incredible in HD that needs watching. (I'm resisting taking a morning break to watch last night's Lost.)

It might rain today but we are in a drought I'm told so dispute being overcast it is doubtful.

Just a day of work planned with the usual unplanned interruptions most likely.

Another beautiful day today. So beautiful that cars can only drive 90km/h (55 mph) instead of the usual 120km/h (75mph) on the freeways because otherwise we could have a smog problem. Good thing I'm sitting at home now :)

Other than that, not much going on here. Have a nice day all :)

I'm feeling a little sickly today - started to feel really bad yesterday (the kind of cold where you cough & your whole body aches) But I'm loading up on herbal & homeopathic meds as well as a little of this horrendous tasting medicine that Ramster's wife got me hooked on called Buckley's - it tastes like you're drinking liquid Vicks |barf|

Lots to do for me as I did end up fucking off most of yesterday due to my sickness (as well as putting out a fire on another board)

Even if your not a fan of sports, games look so much better in HD - I've found myself watching soccer |crazy|

Good Luck Jim! Its supposed to rain here, but so far nothing. At first there was a big storm expected this weekend but the report has changed and now there is only a chance of wet flurries or rain.

Greenie, Buckley's is gross but I was really sick a couple of months back. I took a bottle and a half of that stuff and whatever I had was gone. Keep taking it every 3-4 hrs. Enjoy ;)

Good Morning. Up a bit late today but my Tim Horton's coffee is fresh.

Senators game tonight and I'm going to watch as we hopefully kick the Islanders asses. We're only 7 pts behind the slumping Sabres.

That sounds like what I had and everyone around me too. :(

Still not completely over it after two weeks but have been well enough to resume most things including getting back to the gym and partying.

More thunderstorms again off and on all day yesterday. Lots of rain and even a little sleet mixed in. I even have pics to share this morning. :D

backyard - sheets of water running off the roof.
frontyard - shallow stream flowing down the walk into the street. Water at the curb extends about half way to the crown in the street.

That's really pretty typical during thunderstorms here, lots of water in a short period of time, then it all drains off. It's only a problem when the bayou fills to full and it doesn't run off between downpours.

Now that I've bored everyone to death, we now return you to your regularly scheduled programming...

Buckley's is a terrible tasting Canadian brand of cough syrup. their slogan is: "It Tastes Awful. And It Works." there's isn't anybody in Canada who hasn't had their mother force that shit down their throats at one time or another.

kinda rainy here too, but barring any more freak weather fronts, it looks like the season is finally turning woohoo |roses|

my ears are still plugged up after the first round of antibiotics so looks like I may be going back for another try. Although it's kinda nice to be almost deaf during March break here, it's also pretty annoying as it feels like I have a shell up to my ear & all I can hear the ocean & my heartbeat. Oh well, at least I still have one I guess :)

Trying to force myself to get some work done, but now that March Madness has just started I doubt I'll get much if anything done. Gonna try and work, but will probably just end up watching basketball all day.

I take a couple of shots of Buckley's as soon as I feel a cold coming on. At least half of the time I don't get the cold. Wonder drug!

it was a little overcast this morning, but, the sun is peeking through the clouds and starting to warm things up -- which reminds me about a household task I was going to do BEFORE it got hot. :)

Tossing bits around, finding bugs in software and shopping around for some hardware.

I see I'm not the only one with the cold from hell. Today is the first day I've been up and around. I should have bought stock in kleenex. I went to Vegas to get some more stuff for the yard, and that is all I'm accomplishing today. God I hope I feel better tomorrow. I can so relate GG and Ponygirl to how you both feel.

Just getting down to some work now. Still doing jury duty. ugh. Upset that I can't watch basketball. |angry|
