Ongoing Topic - new post or just add comments?
I have questions |bananna|
The other day I posted about Energy Conservation & what I do to conserve energy: http://www.blinkerfluid.com/category...-conservation/ I remembered a couple of other things that I do over the weekend & I wanted to post about them as well. Do I: 1 - edit the original post? 2 - add a comment? 3 - start a new topic? (and reference the orig post) **** Today I'm going to make a post about some teams I hope make the NHL Playoffs. Once they do make it or are eliminated, I'll want to comment about that as well. So, same question: 1 - edit the original post? 2 - add a comment? 3 - start a new topic? (and reference the orig post) |
Start a new topic and reference to the original post. If you edit the original post you won't get that much exposure.
... or something like that ... |
I know if I were reading blogs on a consistent basis, I probably wouldn't reread an older post to see if it changed. I would however follow categories that interested me and a new post would signify new information. For those that stumbled across that post, you could reference the earlier post from the archives.
good post on your energy usage. :) |
In both instances, I would make a new post and link back (trackback) to the original post. Much as I would if I was quoting something from someone else's blog.

That all makes sense - thank you :)
