CCBill

Has anyone else noticed a significant change in CCBILL signups since they implemented IP tracking on the 5th of Jan?

Hi Wazza - funny you should mention that, I have seen a nice increase in sales on CCbill sites since then - maybe just coincidence, I don't know... but nice!

Paul.

Yes, already almost as many sales as last month (Christmas could have something to do with it though), but imagine how much money you've actually lost.. |sad|

Regarding CCbill- if you have many affiliates under a single account is it possible to figure out what the heck you are getting paid for when you get a check?

Yes you can. If you look up 'check amount' in the reports section of the ccbill admin, you can sort it by affiliate ID (there is an option in the left menu), and the check amount is broken down by affliate.

Regarding CCBill and sales... I have seen more clicks being shown on similar traffic and more sales.

Maybe Wazza is right.

Guys, I've noticed this too.

Please excuse my ignorance. Can you guys explain to me what the reasoning would be for it? How does IP tracking affect sales at all?

All the sponsors I promote that use CCbill are under one affiliate ID. I can't get it to sort by sponsor.|angry|

I uploaded some screenshots here to show how to sort the check amounts by sponsor :)

Try it this way around for your merged accounts - once you know the check period to query goto transactions this will bring up all activity for the time period you selected - then click on breakdown by affiliate - you will presented with the info you want. You can download this in HTML, csv, xsl format for your records.

Cheers!

Just to add... they changed the cheque design a few weeks ago too, so I guess they had a new system in place from then.

doublep 2004-01-20 11:10 AM

NP AG! :) Let us know what they tell you. :-)

Yep... all of a sudden I am making sales on some hosted galleries I linked probably over a year ago on some old pages that get a good bit of SE traffic. I can't recall ever making any sales on them prior to the last couple weeks, go figure.

And all signups have increased as well. I guess that 30% loss in cookie sales was about right. I am afraid to do the math because no doubt its a huge loss on past sales. :(

Glad I found this thread, and glad this issue is now fixed for ccbill affiliates.
