Check your sources.. and you will find a number of these "scientists" in that program are 'retired professors', some are funded by the coal and oil industries, and at least one was previously a scientist working for the cigarette companies saying that smoking was good for you.

we broke some weather records this year and last year in holland, for real we broke the weather record for heat compair in 1968, in 1968 the temp was 27.4C (celsius) now its was more then 28C, how come we broke a record alraedy in 1968 and they never mentioned the global warming then? Global warming........bullshit!

yeah i get sick and tired of those weather record things, hell we had weather records of heat in 1968, but hell they never mentioned "GLOBAL WARNING" in that time, i just see it as a thing to colect money for tax. bad dutchies

waahhhh the biggest mistake of holland was to be a member of the EU, lol all proofs now, the "beer kartel" for years already the "beer companies fond a way to get high prices" now they found out, after 7 years, so the "eu commission" said oke some of the beer companies have to pay a 250+ million euro bill to the "EU". oke here is the dutch goverment, well since this is only a dutch issue, the bill should get paid to the dutch goverment and not to the "eu gang" well now the dutch goverment have to think back, if by the "eu rules" you know you have to pay to the "Eu Gang: i realy should move to an other place:(

lol i dont put any value on the "eu rules" no way, since the start of the "eu" it was ment to be that holland was a "milking cow" means holland has to pay for other poor countries which are in the european hole (not to mention they accept more and more poor countries in that circle), but give me one reason why all is "global warming" while they already had those same problems in the 60"s and hell show me an example they mention global warming then!

Stu - Past analysis is no guide to current analysis and one or two outliers don't affect the general statistical trend :-)

If I remember correctly, back in the 70s, scientists thought we were going to have a mini ice-age. Now they think it's all warming up (and that might cause an ice-age). Considering that they can't predict the weather accurately for Saturday, I don't think they can say with a great deal of certainty what's happening at the moment. Still, I'd rather err on the side of caution though :-)

If I got the link right, you should see how a 7m increase in sea level will effect the UK and Holland.

I live in the UK... in a place that is 139m above sea level (456 feet) thankfully.

well, I hate to rat people out, but this is important... global warming was caused by Useless Warrior.... back in the mid 90's he ate 47 bowls of chili, a few hours later he farted for 187 hours straight... that tipped us over the edge and caused this whole thing. damn him

As long as people like Useless Warrior, cheap beer and chili exist then humans will be effecting global warming. Even without UW's farts we're effecting global warming and to think that we're not is simply ignoring history.

The real question is how much are we effecting global warming. Is it a lot or a little and will putting a cork in UW ass help or will all that gas just come out other orifices?

Global warming = an excuse to increase taxation.
The earth works in cycles as believe it or not, the UK was a tropical island at one point before the last ice age.
Being as they predict another ice age at some point i expect we'll have coconuts and palm trees here again soon.

The + side of that is women wear less cloths and i can reach a fuller erection without putting my hands in my pockets. :D
