I would appreciate some input here.

I mainly submit various niches to TGP's and was wondering. Do specialized sites like

http://www.ftvgirls.com/ sell and convert better than standard niche sponsors?

FTV is pretty much a standard niche (nude teens) so I'm not sure what you're asking.

What I mean, I think, is that FTV focuses on one model, not just a general nude teen site.

Another example would be http://www.brutaldildos.com/ focusing on large dildo's instead of a general dildo site

There's 8 different girls on the front page :D

But using the other example, I see what you're saying. IMO that site is an offspring of the growing "rough porn" niche, where pretty much every niche fits into it (just like every niche fits into amateur or asian or pornstar or gay....)

It all comes down to what kind of traffic you're throwing at the site. Brutal Dildos might do better with traffic form a rough porn site as opposed to a general toy site.

Hey now, don't be discouraged. You can carve out niches from your "general" traffic and get the effect Greenie described.

Can you give me an example of a "carved out" niche Virgo?

Think of rough porn as a general niche, and big toys as a carved out niche of the more general rough porn. If you have rough porn traffic you're ready to carve. If you have "any porn" traffic then it might be better to carve out rough porn first, along with a few other general niches. Trick is to let the surfer think they're in control of what they're going to see. ;)
