Altering submitted free sites.

So I built a free site and submitted it to about 16 sites.

3 accepted it but most of the rest rejected it do to a completely valid reason which I feel like an idiot for :)

I want to get it back out there and submitted again, but im afraid to alter the one gallery page as I don't want to piss off the LL's that already accepted it.

Should I just contact the the ones that did accept it so far and let them know or just forget about it and move on?

Changing a page usually isn't a big deal if it's correcting something like too many out links, blind links, things like that. I guess it depends on what changes you're talking about making.

Porn Junkie 2007-04-19 03:34 PM

ya, its correcting a couple blind links. Just going to add a couple words to the text. Nothing else.

I would build a new site using what you have learned and submit it. build, submit, forget. Just my opinion.

Preacher 2007-04-19 03:50 PM

No, you'll be fine correcting things that have already been accepted at some places. It is done all the time. :)

As long as the things you change do not break the rules of the LL's that listed you, then go for it.

that explains all:)

Awesome to hear! Was wondering if the scripts used can detect changes like that and blacklist me for making changes.

Thanks everyone!

I don't know for sure but I think scripts check for missing recip links and maybe the addition of JS (kinda doubt that though) and not the entire text content.

It's easy to check if a page has been changed, though not what has changed. I've seen some people claim they can tell when a change has been made, which might flag content for a quick re-review.

That being said, in the past I've not had problems making changes for the better, but I do it as seldom as I can.

Corrected and resubmitted. Already got a couple accepted replies!

Thanks Preacher :)

Same here. My script detects more than a dozen changes in a listing (I won't disclose the exact number). It re-ques the listing if it changes then I check it over manually. If like GG said you didn't break any rules tweaking it then it is relisted.
